I didn't get Ant-Man trailer at my showing. I got DP2 and Jurassic World trailers as summer blockbusters.

Though I DO wonder how he would react if he found out it's being used to fudge Black Panther into the Top Five and grease the total of A Wrinkle in Time a bit.
Is it really that lucrative passing $100m for syndication? The movie is a huge flop, indeed they didn’t even care to launch it in Europe...

I am the last one to scream fudge, but Disney is slightly bullshitting with that Friday number.
Oh well, that is their call. Still a massive number and today is going to shock people.

Even if it falls short of Force Awakens it's still a incredible feat, especially since I thought like many the MCU peaked with The Avengers..(BP is a unique case imo)

If it hits anything over 305 OS, coupled with the 230 DOM opening, Fast 8 can kiss the WW OW record bye bye..... AND IT WAS DONE WITHOUT CHINA
Crazy..imagine if China opened this week with $180-200m

Where'd you get your 30 million figure from? THR says that 3.9 million people watched it on Fox. I know it got broadcast on numerous stations though.
And last year the figure was at 10 million overall.
Lol it's impossible it got 30 million.
2.9 HH (household rating) means 3.83 million viewers

Agree with baumer. This is a little odd. I'm sure we'll have them soon enough though. Everyone must be waiting for Rth to give them the numbers?

At the very least if fans loved the movie it won’t face a Part 1 backlash..

Umm have you looked at the intl threads lately though
I think I misread your post. Passing TLJ should be fairly easy even with extremely conservative predictions.

Wait do we not think IW > TLJ WW is a sure thing? Lol
500m DOM, 800 plus OS ($50m above Civil War).

I don't get it. It's not like Marvel is DC. They are giants at the box office. And I wouldn't celebrate it making more than TLJ yet. Legs will be typical sequel type legs for Avengers. I don't see it getting more than a 2.4X.
Saw the movie and yeah reaching a 2.4 will be great.

Picking 5 negative reviews to prove your point is hardly a consensus...I’m sure if I’d scroll in audience reviews of the original Avengers I could find the same result...
