  1. I could be totally wrong about this, but I agree. I just don't get the appeal. Look with Guardians, even I got the appeal of that. I read DnA's comic run, and I thought those were great building blocks for what became the Guardians of the Galaxy film franchise. With Guardians, it was a space opera. So it was like Marvel could do their own Star Wars sort of thing but with fun Marvel characters. I believed in the potential fo Rocket Raccoon and Groot becoming characters the audience could fall in love with. They are like R2D2 and C3PO. They are iconic. Eternals, I just don't see what the angle is and why these characters are so special. Especially, when you for all intents and purposes have X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Silver Surfer to play around with in the future. I know you'll need other properties, but Eternals sounds so uninspiring. It just seems like another version of Inhuman. Inhumans I think had more potential as a movie anyway, except then it got sent down to TV and basically gutted and taken out like trash.
  2. I hope this is the nail in the coffin that ends Predator for good. None of the subsequent installments have been good. I truly believe Shane Black has secretly loathed the original for all these years and wanted to effectively kill this franchise. This movie was worse than AVP and AVP: Requiem. At least Requiem has a cool Predator creature in it. And none of this hybrid DNA BS.
  3. They could go that route, but they aren't going to have Morgan playing Thomas Wayne Batman in Matt Reeves the Batman. And multiple reports surfaced saying Affleck would be exiting the role.
  4. I hope this doesn't change too much at Funimation. I like their current web setup a lot now. However, buyouts like this usually lead to people getting fired and new people taking over, even if they claim "business as usual." For anyone interested, King of Fighters: Destiny episodes 1 and 2 are now subbed on YouTube from SNK:
  5. I hope Craig returns just to stick to all the people talking about Idris Elba or trying to usher him out of the franchise already. Or the stupid online betting websites taking bets on who is playing the next Bond.
  6. To me the beauty of something like the Space Jockey or the Xenomorphs is that they are "alien" in every sense of the word. A creature like the Space Jockey is not like anything that we can think up or imagine. It's something beyond human comprehension. Giving them this relatively simple explanation and backstory is as you would say repellant. Watching the original Alien, the Space Jockey didn't look like a creature that would've been just some big precursor humanoid wearing a simple set of armor or a flight suit. In fact, it didn't look like it have legs at all. The surface where it's chair was doesn't even look like a surface meant to be walked on. The hallways of the derelict didn't look big enough for it to walk through either.
  7. We saw young Nathan Drake in the game when he was like 10-13 at MOST. Tom Holland is 20 years old.
  8. Tom Rothman is doing everything he can to tank sabotage Sony and the Uncharted movie. Not just that but Masters of the Universe as well. They don't want Skeletor as the main villain.
  9. Blomkamp should've stuck to his promise that he will never work with Fox again. Scott also lied about there never being a script for his film.
  10. I feel that Ridley Scott ruined the majesty of Giger's design artwork with his reveals for the Space Jockey and the Xenomorphs dashrendar44. Do you agree?
