Alright, here we go.

I can't exactly say this year has so far been underwhelming. Heck what all directors of 2017 movies need to remember is that even M. Night Shyamalan delivered this year.

Oh it would appear the Critics' Choice rating for the movie fell to 80/100 after starting out at 90. This RT Watch will be very interesting indeed.

ahhaha that would be the most insane start to the RT watch... inb4 it actually happens.

It seems to have opened at 90/100 on Critics' Choice. Of course we can't be sure what this means but hopefully it a sign of good things to come.

Probably my favorite genre

What the hell happened here since I last posted! I'm not sure I can keep up. Uhm... Cabin in the Woods is overrated, yes. I think it has barely any re-watch value unlike my favorite in the genre. You are correct sir, effectively building suspense and genuine fear is not being "pretentious". It's just actually doing a good job in the genre. I do think It Follows is overrated though. It's a good movie for sure but the the way the script was written and the way the movie was directed just didn't fit as one tried to come up with all these rules for the story while the other tried to be a lot more loose and have it feel a lot more abstract.

Looking forward to it. It makes no sense why it would be a nun when the whole reason Valak took the form of a nun in The Conjuring 2 is to mock Lorraine's faith so I'm interested in seeing what bullshit excuse they'll come up with to explain it. I think the director is an interesting choice and could make for a good movie. Loved both Conjuring movies, Annabelle is almost terrible and Annabelle 2 looks really good. I hope they all work out because I love the idea of a horror cinematic universe.

And hopefully he'll think "oooh so this is how it's done!"

I recommend all of them! Well except My Life as a Zucchini because I haven't seen it yet...

The BAFTAs has gotten it right 3 years in a row now with best animated film.

It'll probably take a while for me to even realize why it wasn't a good idea because I thoroughly enjoyed that.
