iirc there weren't any Tuesday jumps last year during MOM's release. Infact it did actually decline on Tuesday...wonder if that's the reason why the Monday drop was just 65% for MOM

Yeah...Adipurush trailer was ok...also teaser being so bad meant expectations were low. I watched both Hindi and Telugu trailers and I actually thought Prabhas voice sounded better in Hindi than Telugu despite Telugu being his mother tongue. His voice in Telugu trailer was very lousy

Adipurush seems like a wild card to me. Few months back, I'd have expected it to open in low single digits but I feel more optimistic about it now

I mean just because a lead character is played by an ethnic minority doesn't necessarily mean the makers are heavily targetting that ethnic minority community

My only concern regarding GOTG3 is that the movie is not that kid friendly when compared to GOTG1, GOTG2....idk whether that factor will have an effect on boxoffice

Caught the new trailer yesterday while watching GOTG3. It was definitely a much better trailer than previous teaser/trailer.

I haven't watched BP2 yet...I liked NWH but I didn't find any part in NWH that made me emotional. I also didn't watch the Raimi's Spiderman movies...so nostalgia wasn't a factor for me while watching NWH. I enjoyed IW, EndGame but I can't say I felt as emotional watching those movies while I felt watching GOTG3. GOTG is also my favorite MCU franchise...so that probably helped things I guess

The whole Rocket backstory was so freakingly well done. I can't even remember the last time when I felt so emotional while watching a CBM

That's a decent number for GOTG3. I don't think the GOTG1, GOTG2 did that well in India. iirc, GOTG2 also released just 1 week after Baahubali2...didn't do much at Indian boxoffice

well all of those are either sequels or already established popular characters. It would have been lot more awesome if a movie like D&D broke out

you'd hope that atleast one of the summer movies would move to a later release date basing on how this weekend went...if atleast one of the big summer releases clicks, the holdovers are gonna struggle in this post-covid world.

Thought this was a good teaser...I haven't seen Ms.Marvel but Kamala looks fun here. I wonder if trailer will have more focus on Brie...feel like they used teaser to focus more on new characters. One problem with this movie so far is that I don't think your average moviegoer knows this is sequel of Captain Marvel.
