I don't think the Nolanites were as hard for Dunkirk as critics were. I consistently see them putting it near the bottom of their rankings.

I am in the same boat..I am a big Nolan fan but Dunkirk isn't exactly for me. I wouldn't even have bothered to watch the movie if it was directed by anyone other than Nolan.

Dunkirk & Interstellar are two Nolan movies where you might find notable differences between critics opinion vs Nolanites opinion. Nolanites love Interstellar lot more than critics whereas critics love Dunkirk lot more than Nolanites

Deadline: There’s no stopping Warner Bros. Barbie as sources tell us the Greta Gerwig movie has a shot at hitting the billion mark this Sunday worldwide, if not Monday. Stateside she’s eyeing a third weekend around $55M, -41%, give or take, and she’ll cross the $400M stateside mark by Thursday, her 15th day of release. Through yesterday, Barbie stands at $850M WW.

I don't see how it doesn't cross 1B by Sunday

  3. R$5.8M is a good number though. It made R$36.5M in the weekend...so Monday would be roughly 16% of the weekend number.  I am not super familiar with what the local conditions are (summer holidays or not) but for comparison, Barbie did $15M at domestic BO on Monday which was also exactly 16.1% of it's weekend domestic BO number ($93M).

  4. Barbie would be at around 410M after end of 2nd week.

If Barbie has 50% weekly drop for rest of it's run, it would finish at 562M

    50% weekly drop - 562M

    45% weekly drop - 596M

    40% weekly drop - 638M

    35% weekly drop - 692M

    30% weekly drop - 765M

    25% weekly drop - 865M

I am leaning more towards that 35% drop scenario..it would put it close to 700M.

Anti-Feminist is not on their agenda.. Barbie ban is entirely centered around Anti-LGBTQ thats about it. MovSTo in Saudi Arabia passed many feminist movies thru the censorship before but it is easy to predict there pattern they solely stop all positive LGBTQ elements or movies promoting LGBTQ

But people who have seen the movie said that there isn't any notable LGBTQ stuff in the movie

  6. Regarding the Middle East ban, people who watched the movie said that there isn't even anything related to LGBTQ stuff in the movie. So I wonder if they are banning it because of the feminist message/theme...I was looking on twitter regarding this topic and I saw some Middle Eastern posters speculating that this could have been the reason for the ban

Positive response by Barbie to Discussing Film Tweets on Barbenheimer Arts are taken as insult to Victims of Atom Bombs.

I wasn't aware until Tonight is started appearing on my Twitter feed.

that really looks like quite a reach. Barbie's twitter account didn't even discuss about content of Oppenheimer movie or anything...just acknowledging the Barbenheimer meme which has pretty much been a phenom Worldwide. Does it mean entire world is insulting victims of atom bomb ? I really hope it's just a fringe group that's considering the above tweet from Barbie account as insult to atom bomb victims
