Make Bareilly ki Barfi and Sonu ki titu tier or just a Karan Johar produced cookie cutter Varun Dhawan-Alia Bhatt Rom Com #36.
(Man kids these days don't get fed up by watching the same shit over and over again be it your next Disney blockbuster or a Bollywood romcom)

Both those versions came from directors that aren’t as good as Patty.
He's only pointing out the 2/10 times DCEU casting might have missed the mark , but even if the casted actors themselves are good enough they wound up with a meh villian in most of CBMs.
Fingers crossed that she's integral to the plot or atleast Patty handle her properly.

Also spoiler: a teen/kids movie made relatively cheaply is not aiming for $300M+.
But what about a movie aiming for Stranger things : Superhero Edition marketing ?

Not the franchise wars thread.
Yes delete the one comment which actually made sense and void of double standards

Yeah, that’s not going to happen. He’s just saying that for hype. There will be a team up, they don’t want to alienate fans of one monster.
I would believe for once that this movie will not have clear cut winner cause of cliche writing of the actual confrontation that have plagued said VS movies instead of this "fans" will get alienated argument.
Who really are these fans ? Toho? Japan? The chinese audience backing the hero whose gonna vanquish the fabled Japanese Legend ?
Do the film makers actually cares who wins ? Maybe there's a more popular choice between the 2 guys depending on different people but calling them "fans" of a franchise in its infancy is a but far off

The director recently said that there will be a clear winner

That is revisionist history of the highest order unless you are talking about 2 weeks max prior and even that is suspect.
It was forecasted to break the Sept record anyway with estimates around 60 to low 80s but ended doing around double of it

This isn’t the GHOSTBUSTERS thread. For chrissakes, some of you guys have the most amazing rage-boner for that movie. Maybe take this movie on its own terms?
The trailer was up for like half an hour and I was thinking wtf why they didn't made a thread for this movie , should have been on the front page by now and I was all what's wrong with site!

it will be DCEU's 2nd best performing movie OS yet. I say its not bad at all only trailing BvS
Yes but for any other DCEU movie that wasn't supposed to be Justice League.

They had tie-ins with lays chips. Only I seemed interested in it. My first star wars experience was Return of the Jedi in Mayfair theatre of Hazrat Ganj lucknow.
Iir around/after the prequels Fox even went on to do a Hindi rip off tv series on Star Plus.
I only came to knew about Star Wars coz of the neat looking Clone Wars show on Cartoon Network.
The old classics barely aired on indian tv and even when they did sometimes , it was the prequels.

Classic example of hate circlejerk , nitpick at how shallow of a cashgrab is while you wait for your monthly vanilla Disney fare.
Maybe some guys just wanna see some inter IP Super Smash shit (and I guess this is the only close to 4 quad family movie around its release time)

They were straight up predatory to small theater chain and gods know how much demanding they will be now with this much clout
