QuoteThis year’s ScareDiego will provide fans with some early details about Andy Muschietti’s It: Chapter Two (which began filming yesterday, and a photo of the grown-up cast was dropped) and there will be extended scenes from Corin Hardy’s The Nun, the next installment in The Conjuring universe opening on Sept. 9. In addition, there will be other surprise film announcements as well as filmmaker and talent appearances. SDCC runs from July 19-22.

China would easily make this profitable
Yeah but China isn't particularly fond of either basket ball or WAG's brand of humor.
Lets see how Small foot and Lego movie 2 perform in China

ok what ???
They making this with Justin Lin and this basketball guy ??
no offence to Mr Le Bron star power but thinking about OS , well Basketball is just not as hot as a global sports hook as it was during the Michael Jordan movie.
Imo they should switched to a different sports just as mere premise to unite all the toons and not only just trying to capture the lightning in the bottle for the 2nd time

Some people ( me included ) were ( or are ) expecting another BVS performance.
Scoring a shit 2x multiplier after a global opening of that magnitude is the worst case scenario and is very in the Top 15 worldwide opener list which mostly happens when general wom is worse than bad and I can say that its far from that

I think this will open to 140m opening weekend but have smaller legs than first film and finish at 380m. So just like GOTGv2.
For second I thought there's a raid going on by Forbes staff in this forum

the first one had hell of a competition and with less crowded schedule Europe can do much better this.
Can expect significant improvement in Europe and Australia

Cold War setting, will it get a China release?
First Class didn't because of that.
That was the 70s tho.
And if they're partnering with Wanda like the last 2 dceu movies , can't they manage the release ?

Snyder was still pretty much involved with Wonder Woman as producer in the first place...

I'm just here (im)patiently waiting for the NUN trailer.
There's been a severe drought of an actual "supernatural" horror movie and probably won't this summer.
Maybe people will get more attracted and more looking forward to it if Nun fulfills the criteria of the definitive scary movie of the season/year.

It is upto $28.3m USD and should be more than 30 going into the weekend. This weekend I also expect it to pass Jungle Book and take the #1 spot of highest grossing foreign movie.
On 23/4/2018 at 6:54 PM, ZeeSoh said:Nearly impossible I would say. Even if it doubles what Age of Ultron did it will still fall short by 5 million(32crores) or so.
JW and F7 on the other hand require only a 46% increase which is doable but difficult
On 23/4/2018 at 8:16 PM, NamakFiskKa said:Nah if the previous 125cr inr OW post is anything to go by it can reach $30 Mill just by 2nd week.
That projection is a very big if though and also every previous Avenger movies were like the Top hollywood grosser at there time and also online ticket booking have exponentially since 2015.
Right now I'd say it does 2.5-3x fo whatever BP did
Never forget.
You heard it hear first.

The producers are screening the film only at Cinema Halls that are equipped with the DCI technology, which has restricted it from making optimum utilization of the screens in India. While the film is releasing all across in all major multiplex chains, it is the B and C centres where the film is not releasing on all screens.

don't expect it to jump too much over the weekend but 20M is where it will land hopefully. WOM is absolutely bonkers here so I think it will cross 50 Million in India and beat TJB in the process.
50 mil usd too much for the screen count.
But 30mil+ usd is more or less on the way maybe even closer to 35-40mil usd

t’s also the 2nd highest OD in India all time if I am not wrong. It outdid every singlw Bollywood movie which is simply crazy.
Well told you.
I think it's single day gross is only behind Dangal and Happy New year

So the estimated increase from ultron doesn't look the far fetched now ig.
AUS 31+32= $63 mil
FRA 34+12=$46 mil
GER 31+15=$46 mil
UK 76+15=$91 mil
INDIA 16+15=$31 mil
RUS 34+5=$40 mil
BRAZIL 47.8+15=$64 mil
are these on the cards ?

The first film actually had a sizeable amount of competition all over the globe except for NA where it stomped those films
