  1. That's lionsgate so u might hear something tomorrow
  2. I've been bearish on it for a long time.
  3. Is it fair to compare it to avatar 2 considering the delays
  4. Sudeikis has some nerves of steel to do this after the slap. And during wb's presentation as well
  5. Please tell me the popcorn and refreshments booth is giving out free samples
  6. It's much bigger than that. Cameron owns ALL the rights to alita. Any anime studio that wants to do something with it goes through him.
  7. It comes out same weekend as my birthday. At least its better than last year when Hollywood gave me dear evan hansen
  8. It was a different time. How films were released was MUCH different back then and it made sense to re-release films in theatres. That ship sailed when home video became a major player
  9. I'd put an asterisk to it due to all re- releases but it's still quite a feat
  10. Kinda off-topic but if Tim Miller did altia and Robert Rodriguez did T:DF both film would have been much better imo
  11. Funny thing was avatar 1 was supposed to be the tech demo and then alita was going to blow everyone away
  12. It depends on much of the film is in hfr. If the majority of it is ( and that could very well be the case) it's going to have some problems with audiences
  13. And that though they have actually getting better at it. I enjoyed the live action Cowboy bebob with John cho as spike
  14. I know numerous people who can't do 3d because it gives them headaches. If the hfr adds on to that it could be a pretty big issue
  15. Hasn't hfr caused similar issues for the other major films that have tried it (the hobbit movies and bill Lynn for example)
  16. To be fair ailta does not have the biggest following in the anime community in NA. I think it would helped if JC went to some bigger anime studios like bones Wit or madhouse and had them make an anime based on the series a couple years beforehand.
