  1. When the lion king remake was 1st shown at d23 the footage had people in tears but overall people thought it was not good
  2. I'm afraid I fully have to disagree. massive fantasy and sci-fi properties have major pull at these conventions and avatar was there in 2009. It will probably get the same reaction at d23 the lion king remake got when it showed footage. ( and ill be honest that makes me feel confident in being bearish on it)
  3. I went to a small con in June (Niagara Falls Comic-con) and 1 artist was selling avatar fan art. A used video and record store had a Blu-ray. The artist still had the piece as I left
  4. Second dimension Do you remember that scene from GOT where they forgot to edit out the Starbucks cup. This entire film felt like that due to a myriad of small errors that show up throughout the film ( characters names being spelled multiple ways. Not entering twice before a new paragraph, the font size changing part way through the film, missing punctuation. And the formatting being off.) The base story has potential... But its sloppiness of it's writing made it painful to get through. d-
  5. Tongue Tied The cast is fine but the Shrek like tone is at odds with the more prominent themes of the story and massively hurts the film overall C
  6. Nope is the best film that Jordan Peele has made. The film plot about society's desensitization to "spectacle" really spoke to me. Everyone is great in this and the cinematography blew my mind A+
  7. @Rorschach I expect this to be as close to the source material as possible that means 2 films set entirely on a boat with an 8 year gap between release dates
  8. So many inside jokes I could make. But I'll start with #wheresDominick?
  9. As someone who played multiple versions of DND this looks really good. I was expecting the GOTG vibes considering the directors but I wasn't the trailer to be this good. They really did their research. For example having Pine's character (who's obviously the leader) be a bard is something you see in a lot of groups
  10. Sleepy Hollow Micheal B. Jordan, Jordan Peele, and Henry Selick take Endless Animation to new heights with a unique and unnerving take on the urban legend. A+
  11. Oh knowing ubisoft the game will have controversy about it being littered with microtransactions and crunch
  12. Among us. (To help the film keep kayfabe no cast members will be mentioned. ) James Gunn takes what should be a cheap cash grab and turns it into a lovely mix of the thing and clue. The cast has good chemistry with each other. B+
  13. Horizon Entertainment has hired the minds behind the Amazon Prime series the boys Eric Kripke, Seth Rogan & Evan Goldberg to work on a satire of the films like the di vinci code. The film follows a fan of a "star wars like franchise" who discovers the truth about the series and the recent death of it's creator
  14. I'm back and no salt this year but I'm going in blind this year and there will be worst of the year awards this year.themed to the title.
  15. Horizon Entertainment is happy to announce that they are working with Adam Mckay on a film about the parallels and the feud between Greg Lamond and Lance Armstrong. The studio is in talks with Edgar Wright for a original live action space opera
  16. Yep. However Ryan Gosling did mention he's interested in a MCU role as ghost rider. Miles Teller seems interested in nova. Also there is a rumor picking up steam that Penn Badgely from the Netflix show you is the frontrunner for reed Richards
  17. Is this a perfect movie. No. But it's a fun and hilarious ride with one of the mcu's best villains and a wonderful return from Natalie Portman. This also has my favourite action set piece in all of the MCU A-
  18. The mental health episode that sent to the hospital at the beginning of March really set me back, still recovering from it, honestly. Reviews will still come from me and I'm working on a plan to get my self in a better place creatively and mentally. Reviews will come from me. I'm planning big for y10
  19. Well I understand why Hollywood doesn't work with teenagers for major films ( considering James Cameron is insanely difficult to work with) I feel having a 72 year old play a teenager is going to anger a lot of actresses and considering who was in there mid-20s at the time of production ( Emma stone, Jennifer Lawrence, and Bire Larson come to mind) there may be some pushback from the GA
  20. That ajeparts account has also tweeted out that the other accusations are false. I have never considered them trustworthy as they think Jared Leto runs a cult. I used to be in a discord server with them
