Well, here's some news:
Looks like Craig might be playing in the snow again.

So, what's the joke meant to be?

For other up-for-awards-people that Nolan may/could cast, maybe Rachel Weisz? She fits the conventional Nolan female mould (attractive brunette).

Margot Robbie is already a star or on the verge to be one. She’s Harley Quinn AND Barbie, and will be in Quentin Tarantino’s masterpiece this summer.
The Barbie movie's been in development forever-Amy Schumer and Anne Hathaway were tied to it before Robbie and left.
Not to bring this thread off-course, but I can't see Robbie sticking to it to filming.

Incorrect. I think you actually forgot about Hawkeye.
He just can't catch a break, can he?

I was talking about domestic. Talking about studio-market share gets tricky when including worldwide figures.
Thank you for correcting me. Sorry.

So, I think we can safely assume that WB will win 2020 with the films you mentioned, BOP, Doctor Sleep (this is going to be like It all over again) the scooby doo movie, and maybe Space Jam 2 and another DC film (Batman?). The only big film Disney has is Avatar which won't be enough for the studio to come first. Could be the first year since 2015 that a non-Disney studio comes top in terms of studio market share and the first time WB comes top since 2013.
Don't rule out Universal yet-they have Minions 2, a couple Blumhouse films, Bond 25 (international distribution only), and Fast and Furious 9 next year as well.

So it could be one of the following:
- A western
- Another science fiction film
- Another war film (maybe the Crimean War or WW1 this time?)
- A historical epic (like Gladiator)
- The Howard Hughes biopic
- A porno
- A gangster film
- A horror film

Also of note, 2020 will have Nolan, Villenuve, Edgar Wright, and Wes Anderson productions. Truly an amazing year for cinebros
I have a feeling Killers of the Flower Moon and West Side Story may come out in 2020 at the earliest, if they're both shooting this year.
2020 will be effing brilliant.

CHALABAE WILL DOUBLE NOM THEN
I'd prefer if this film came out in 2020. Two Chalamet performances in one year, both of them supporting-one of them might be left out otherwise.

Personally, I think they should have just brought Campbell back and let him bookend Craig’s run as Bond.
Campbell was asked about this in an interview and said he'll only come back to the franchise if it's the first film for Craig's successor. It seems he's only interested in doing the first film for each new actor's run.

Not great: Cold Pursuit, What Men Want, Tyler Perry's A Madea Family Funeral, The Prodigy, Happy Death Day 2U & Miss Bala
Great: Isn't It Romantic, Five Feet Apart & Where'd You Go, Bernadette?
My pick: Star Wars Episode IX, Wonder Woman 1984, Bond 25, Birds of Prey, The French Dispatch, Top Gun: Maverick, Avatar 2, Knives Out & Gemini Man

I think WB would not risk facing Bond even with a week's head start.
Birds of Prey is apparently going to have a budget well below $100 million, owing to the R-rating, so it doesn't really need to compete as hard with Bond (and for this one I pray there isn't any overspending like Spectre).

My fingers are crossed that it's either Grant, Weisz or both.
