  1. Spidey grosses €2.23M on Friday (€4.27M total). It could gross €10M (4-day) and become the highest grossing film of the year only in 4 days
  2. Estimates went up and Spiderman No Way Home becomes the biggest opener on a Thursday in Spain's history surpassing EndGame. The thing is, EndGame shows started at 7PM and NWH started since the morning
  3. Spiderman debuts with €2M on Thursday. Endgame did €2.15M
  4. SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME PRE-SALES (D-0) - 5.618 tickets sold (75 showtimes on Thursday in 4 theatres) Comps: 4,18x DUNE (Released on Friday) (€8,57M OW) 6,62x Shang-Chi (Released on Friday) (€10,06M OW) 3,21x Eternals (Released on Friday) (€8,30M OW) 3,63x Venom 2 (Released on Friday) (€11,84M OW) 1,13x TROS (Released on Thursday) (€7,78M 4-day) 0,71x EndGame (Released on Thursday) (1 theater tracked) (€8,88M 4-day) €8M-8.5M (4-day), €6.5M-7M OW is my prediction
  5. SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME PRE-SALES (D-3) - 4.481 tickets sold (65 showtimes on Thursday in 4 theatres) Comps: 8,73x DUNE (Released on Friday) 12,55x NTTD (Released on Friday) 2,56x Eternals (D-0) (Released on Friday) 2,90x Venom 2 (D-0) (Released on Friday) Amazing numbers. EndGame had 2.286 tickets sold (D-3) in the theatre I've always tracked (Cinesa Manoteras) and No Way Home is at 1.442 tickets sold
  6. Let's wait for first numbers to predict anything. €20-25M is more reasonable eventhough it's Christmas time.
  7. I've checked my data and saw that EndGame sold 602 tickets in the first day with 4 shows vs NWH's 708 with 7 shows. On Sunday I will update again
  8. SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME PRE-SALES (D-15) - 2.240 tickets sold (35 showtimes on Thursday in 4 theatres) in the first 24 hours This is ASTOUNDING. Eternals was the biggest pre-seller in the entire pandemic with 1.748 tickets. In the theatre I've always tracked, Far From Home sold 668 tickets and No Way Home is already at 708 tickets sold and EndGame (D-17) was at 1.403 tickets. Amazing numbers nonetheless
  9. Spider-Man tickets are on sale right now and webs are down. This is going big folks
  10. Cinema chains didn't give an explanation yet
  11. Pre-sales for Spider-Man were delayed indefinitely. I will post an update when we have them on sale
  12. 5 new entries on the Top 10 on Friday. Encanto at #1, House of Gucci at #2, RE at #4 and Spanish Films La Hija and El Refugio at #9 and #10
  13. Encanto pre-sales for today are not bad (476 tickets in 4 theatres, similar to Cruella). Gucci pre-sales are healthy too for an adult drama (125 tickets)
  14. Way Down still at #1. Last Night In Soho debuts at #3, Antlers at #4 and Spencer at #5. Probably will be a low grossing weekend
  15. Eternals grosses €1.3M on its second weekend (-49%). Way Down scores the biggest opening for a Spanish film in 2021 with €1.2M. Harry Potter 1 re-issue does amazing and grosses €500K
  16. Hype is real. I work in a cinema and a lot of people already asked for tickets. It's going to be big. As @peludo said €16-18M is reasonable for the film. With strong WoM and the entire holidays, we can see more (+20M). I will try to post pre-sales when they are up
  17. $3M for Eternals (~€2.6M) OW. In line with our predictions
  18. Yeah, I think it will settle around 5.9-6. It was review bombed on the first day with lots of 1's. It was at 5.3 yesterday and now it's at 6.3
  19. Eternals Friday: €750K (25% below Venom 2) WoM is not that terrible compared to press reviews. In FilmAffinity (Spanish harsh version of IMDb) is at 6.2 with lots of 7's. SC is at 6.6 and BW is at 5.7
  20. ETERNALS (D-0) - 1.748 tickets sold in 4 theatres (48 showtimes) (+609 tickets sold since last update 24 hours ago) (No capacity restrictions in Madrid) Great last day. Biggest pre-sales at those 4 theaters since the pandemic started but only Venom 2 and Eternals didn't have any capacity restrictions so comps are a bit skewed Comps: 1,13x Venom 2 (€3,69M OW) 1,30x DUNE (€2,66M OW) 1,51x No Time To Die (€3,30M OW) 2,06x Shang-Chi (€3,13M OW) Don't see this reaching Venom 2 OW numbers because that was a walk-up heavy movie. I'm leaning towards that Dune comp and if WoM is not that good I can see this even doing less. Captain Marvel sold 1.064 tickets in one of those 4 theatres vs 602 tickets sold of Eternals in the same one. That comp gives Eternals €2,34M OW. EndGame comp (2.836 tickets) gives Eternals €2,55M OW. So €2,5M OW could be a great target and wait for Friday numbers to have a better picture
  21. No, it's the opposite. Madrid cinemas have no restrictions right now, only mask is mandatory. Venom 2 is the only blockbuster to be released under that circumstances
  22. Eternals sold 161.391 tickets on its OD in France (2.665 tickets in previews). It's the 8th best start of the year just behind Venom 2 (161.674 tickets). Black Widow sold 184.770 OD and Shang-Chi sold 108.161 tickets OD
  23. Eternals sold 161.391 tickets on its OD in France (2.665 tickets in previews). It's the 8th best start of the year just behind Venom 2 (161.674 tickets). Black Widow sold 184.770 OD and Shang-Chi sold 108.161 tickets OD
  24. ETERNALS (D-1) - 1.139 tickets sold in 4 theatres (48 showtimes) Not a bad number. Comps are difficult because of capacity restrictions. Only Venom 2 didn't have any and that sold 1.547 tickets on D-0. With capacity restrictions (75%), NTTD sold 818 tickets, Dune sold 965 tickets and Shang-Chi only sold 507 on D-1
  25. It started at 3.7 and now it's at 3.9 so it's rising, it's good WOM. For example, Venom 2 has 2.2 and Dune which had great WoM is at 4.3
