When will Batman presale start ?
-
Seeing that it wiil get china release i thin 500-700m OS will be the range. Seems like it will totally depend on WOM if it want to reach 600m or more because presale seems really slow now.
Hopefully at least it can surpass TDKR as the biggest Batman movie.

Full OD : 70m
Saturday : 52m
Sunday : 37m
Total OW : 159m
Just tried to be optimistic but with current trajectory, seems like it will open in 120-140m. Hopefully review and WOM from early screening push it above 150m.

Do you guys think The Batman first 6 days will beat FFH first 6 days? (185mil)
Even if the review is excellent and WOM is excellent too, probably it will get 160-170m max. So no maybe. 120-150m is a good target for current tracking data.

Low rating https://letterboxd.com/mikecosta/
Is he one of the reviewer that attend special screening ? If yes than he also rates deadpool 3 star and infinity war 3.5 star. So decent i guess.

NWH, BW and Eternals are the top 3. I believe Charlie pegged them at 3 million, 160k and 150k. Not sure if the next 2.So Batman with 130k getting lesser first 24h than BW and Eternals by this data ?

Pre-sales for The Batman from today. Lots of screens for 2nd March, starting as early as 9 am in larger markets. @Carlangonz, how's things looking like, any early predictions?
How many more screens in percentage if we compare with Joker or other DC movies ?

I would expect about €10m from Spain, similar to TDK, TDKR and BvS. More than that would surprise me pleasantly.
Talking about global figures, I am still thinking in $400m OS. Maybe $450m (of course, always asuming that it will not have a Chinese release)
Is there any big holiday or student holiday before Easter in Spain ?
-
If we compare with Joker.
Joker gets around 390m in Europe, 80m in Latin America and 260m from rest of the world.
I would expect Batman get 275m from Europe, 90m from Latin America and 235m from rest of the world. So 600m i predict.
Batman always big in UK so 60m+ should be possible ( hopefully 70m+) and in Asia it should get better number than Joker. Also it probably will get better number in Brazil and Mexico than Joker.

Good start in Taopiaopiao with 9 rating. Still very few though only 5244 person who rated that. Probably stabilise in 8.6-8.8

I saw a lot of positive reactions(incl lots of 10/10) saying something like "I don't understand it but it's Nolan so...will watch 2nd time"
This, so many of those Douban review just repeat those sentence. I never know that Nolan is really popular in China. Just saw top 250 of Douban and like nearly all of his movie in there, like what...

Yeah 800 will win weekend. On Wednesday I thought this is dropping next weekend big but it mantained.
Maybe The Eight Hundred $50m and Tenet $40-45m. Anyway when is maoyan score usually dropped and when is mid point for today ?

8.4 on Douban is great. It's like IMDb. Should settle around 8 most likely.
But yeah seems like Nolan's weakest in recent times just like everywhere else in world.
What's midpoint of Friday for opener, 3 or 4 pm ? Both of Tenet and The Eight Hundred still only increasing ¥2m/hour so far. I think today will be really close. The Eight Hundred might win though.
-
Tenet start with 84 in Douban, quite bad honestly for Nolan standard. Even Dunkirk also got 84, but that after it stabilise. Tenet probably will end in 80-82.
Maoyan will reflect general audience more but reading those review in Douban. I doubt this got higher than 85.

I'd it me or has OD pre-sales been pretty slow so far?
If it keeps the pace like last 10min then ¥21.5-22.5m. If it increasing in the last 2-3 hours of this day, like what usually happened then ¥23m.

Wednesday
Italy €249k, €2.77m total. Almost flat from yesterday after facing a quite big competition.

948k first week admission in France. Very good. 140k admission on Mon-Tue. Total for 1st week $7.95m.

Just read one post on Douban, it seems like Mulan will be released on September 11.
With this I think Tenet probably got $80m max I think. Mulan will get many of those screen.

Tuesday
Italy €251k, Total €2.522m
Soft drop again in Italy, only 5% drop from Monday. At least here, lack of competition seems help.

$4.7mn Approx Monday. $55mn Total excluding Canada.
Isn't that a bit steep drop ? Considering there is bank holiday in UK. So around 55% drop for international market ?
Ok, after looking at Joker midweek seems kind of normal midweek drop

Italy
Monday € 263k (-46%), € 2.257m total
Good drop I guess, I would expect 50% drop but 46% drop is good. It compensate that weak increase last weekend. Also only 35% drop from OD.

Do you know if presale from yesterday also cover early screening on 28 February or no ?
