knew that sub 2 hour run time without credits would be a problem
What?? Endgame is 3 hours and has humongous plot holes. Messy plot holes.
But that didn't stop people from loving it.

No Way Home was messy that's just overlooked because of nostalgia well done and a really fun time.
Just like Endgame. And that's fine. That's come to expect from Multiverse and Time Travel shenanigans. We already saw some Multiverse messy stuff in Loki series but largely overlooked because of great time.
If you deliver a really fun time and emotion, people won't care. Other than Film Twitter probably.

Has Universal postponed Cocaine Bear? It was scheduled for 2022.
It was supposed to release theatrically this year. But it's undated. Wouldn't be surprised if it goes straight to streaming.

Clearly you’re just doing your whole negative shtick again, because this makes absolutely zero sense.
Theaters don’t care about what the production budget of a movie is. Did it bring in crowds? Yes or no. Morbius brought in a fair size crowd for its opening weekend, EEAAO is an indie beast for theaters that play those sort of films. Sonic was a huge opener, Beasts still brought in money, and Bad Guys is making for very very steady matinees. And then you have things like The Northman which play well in the right markets/late evenings to balance it all out.
No, this has been a VERY good April for movie theaters. I have no clue what you’re talking about.
Yeah. While it was a bad month for the movies that released, it was a really food month for theaters.
Hopefully studios like Sony will stop putting pathetic crap like Morbius and studios like WB start doing something actually exciting for fans with WW.

Do studios talk about ALL their upcoming theatrical releases or just the big ones?
For Example. Disney is going to have 3-4 Searchlight releases this year in theaters. Will they talk or mention all of them at CinemaCon?

Disney forces theaters to book marvel/sw films in their biggest theater for 3+week even if empty while take +10% more than competitors, not nice
They make deals. Theaters either agree or not. And they will never pass on the biggest franchise.
So, keep crying.

Honestly I doubt most big movies released between 2020-2023 will be profitable. Even the ones we label as "successes".
Honestly I doubt what you just said

Yeah. I think 500M is the break even point to a 200M movie.

Fuck trends.
I will bet my whole bank account that the 2nd trailer for Thor LT will be much bigger, and even bigger than the 2nd DS2 trailer.
This was a 1:30 teaser, literally showing nothing. Just a small teaser to announce the movie to the world. Setting the tone. Great music btw.
The 2nd trailer will have the money shots. It has to be fast paced, show a lot without showing much and be a adrenaline inducing trailer. Just like DS2 trailer 2.

DS2 trailer 1 showing this little would be doing similar numbers. Part of the reason trailer 2 popped off was because it showed a lot.
Yeah. DS2 trailer 2 exploded because of showing a lot more and big money shots... but at the same time not showing anything.
I think a big Thor LT trailer 2, with some great money shots like ,it will be even bigger than DS2 trailer.
