    Does anybody know what Universal could do to give JW an extra push for it to pass Titanic? Just a new TV campaign or double bill? I'm pretty sure Fox/Paramount did SOMETHING to help Titanic hit 600m even though, as I recall, it didn't really have any justification for loitering about as it did. It seems likely that studios often do things to help somethings hit milestones, although I've never specifically heard of it.

    You bet. Where to begin? My main theory - alluded to weeks ago (although I didn't take notice of and join the under 50m OW club) - has already sparked SJW indignation and complaints to mods. I have to find a way to phrase it so the mods aren't bullied by the "Oh no he di'int!" brigades and delete it.

    I think it's just the demographic's moviegoing schedules: middle-aged women don't rush to Midnights. (Well, maybe this one.) Same with Clint Eastwood and Jack Nicholson movies. They'll get to the movie when they've finished building that birdhouse!
