  1. C'mon, Dwayne Johnson is the most inspired casting for The Thing that ever existed.
  2. Just tell that the Kangs died in the way of their home dimensions and use the Beyonder as the antagonist for Secret Wars, how it should have been since the start. Or... now that they are using the Foxverse as a crutch, adapt Onslaught for the big reboot.
  3. https://variety.com/2023/film/news/taika-waititi-not-involved-thor-5-marvel-hire-another-director-1235790314/amp/ This is the proof that God exists
  4. They truly messed up doing multiversal crap instead of a more intimate story like Dark Reign.
  5. How can those people justify the movie falling even harder on international market where late night shows are not even a factor?
  6. There is a possibility they drop it on D+ to be the big Christmas movie, but that would be like receiving coal in your sock.
  7. Unlike GotG that had momentum, Inhumans never were used as anything but weirdos that appeared once in a blue moon to do exposition on cosmic stories and their push was completely fabricated and misguided making them ersatz mutants.
  8. Because one movie has a lead character that acts like a sexless plastic action figure and the other one was Barbie.
  9. And do you think cartoons and games are conjured out of thin air? Those have development cycles too. Pretty sure Rocket Raccoon was added in MvC because they wanted to include a joke/inconventional character and Marvel gave them choices like Squirrel Girl before they settled on the final pick, it wasn't just a mandated marketing stunt.
  10. Avengers EMH and Marvel vs Capcom appearances of the team preceded the announcement of the movie.
  11. All those characters I mentioned have been Avengers too aside from Ursa Major, that doesn't make it a good roster. Even then, the MCU iterations of those characters just do not work as Thunderbolts, it misses the theme and tone of the franchise. Thunderbolts is about redemption, the stories play with the concept of having a single spark of heroism even on the most heinous of the monsters, the MCU "Thunderbolts" won't touch that because there isn't a single "bad" villain on the team, they are just different shades of manipulated soldiers. Let's not even talk about the actual popularity of the characters, this isn't GotG where the team was introduced in a cohesive storyline in a single movie, but a collection of third stringers of movies and series that have already been released and appeal to no one but the most hardcore of the MCU fanatics.
  12. We have the main cast announced and shown, it's enough to say it will not be a proper Thunderbolts movie, It's like they did the first Avengers movie and put Triathlon, Silverclaw, Ex Nihilo, Demolition Man and Ursa Major instead of Iron Man, Cap or Thor.
  13. That narrative that no one cared about Iron Man is just a lie that people use to justify the current Marvel turkeys. Same thing for Captain America and the Avengers. Even before the movie Iron Man had - a cartoon - a toyline - his own video games When GotG movie got announced, it was a up and coming franchise with a successful reboot in the comics that started to bleed into other media.
  14. Eternals 2, Young Avengers? If this kind of project indeed get greenlighted I'm afraid Marvel Studios will need to pay for the viewers to watch them in the theaters.
  15. Iron Man 3 was when I stopped watching them on the opening weekend, Thor Ragnarok was the one that made me truly give up.
  16. Deadpool is giving me big MoM vibes, all those cameos and scenarios floating in the internet that likely won't be on the finished movie.
  17. Julia Carpenter had one of the greatest costumes ever made in the comic medium, Spider-Man and then Venom stole it.
  18. Just saw the Cinemascore, this movie legs will be about as good as Prof X legs.
  19. Eternals had romance and a sex scene but since it's Eternals it doesn't count.
  20. Irrelevant, if they wanted for Thunderbolts to be a hit and the big Phase 5 ender they could afford to deal with Sony for it.
  21. I think the ship might have sailed at the moment, but if I was the one calling the shots, I'd use the big guns that don't need introduction like Venom, Deadpool, Elektra, The Punisher and finishing the team with one or two new characters and Zemo as the leader, so kind of a "best of" the several rosters of the team. Now if you told me before Endgame, I'd say that the building blocks should have been placed as soon as that movie ended, maybe a post-credits scene showing Zemo fleeing the prison and trying to build a team since the Avengers were over and go with the original team. Ant-Man 3 having Fixer/Atlas/Beetle as sort of a family of super villains to mirror the Ant-Family or Luis' crew, Moonstone being the antagonist of Captain Marvel 2 and Songbird being introduced on the start of the Thunderbolts movie, being the audience surrogate.
  22. Marvels being even more male skewing than the first movie is just amazing.
