The Nice Guys curse continues. I sure feel this movie would have done better in 2017 compared to now.

This was pretty fun because of the leads and comedy. The action is good but has typical issues that Leitch movies do with the pacing.

Surprised that my nearest theater had less tickets sold for this than Civil War's first weekend.

PVOD rumored for early May, too soon but then again it never got a release in many markets.

I got the newest trailer for this before Civil War/Dune 2 rewatch and both times the audience were like "ehh". I guess Bullet Train just appealed to a different action film demo while this is trying for couples and Ryan Gosling is literally me guys lol.

This franchise for sure has run its course a bit. Too bad Brad Bird revived the franchise and then dipped, Ghost Protocol was better than the same-ish McQuarrie movies which all blend together and have the same formula.

I think Ryan Gosling playing himself has been done better last year already. Still think couples will carry this.

Same, lot of my friends who qualify as GA are hyped to see this in theaters. Internet can whine all about the humor, but this type of fun is what has been missing in blockbuster movies lately. Hugh is a huge sell too.

Like I said before, the CBM landscape isn't what it was from 2017-2021. So a little bit early marketing won't hurt them at all.

I'll say slightly above than what Bullet Train did and that movie had Brad Pitt. The brand of humor won't translate very well to international audiences.
