Yes it is... digital release especially this late in a run do not affect box office at all. It will hit disney+ way later. After maybe 120 days after release

100%. Over 2 billion and the 3rd highest grossing movie ever. With a 13 year gap between those 2 movies is a massive win. Most did not belive that would be possible. That admissions will be down was obvious before release. The landscape changed so much over the years. And also important - it was a well recieved cinematic event by general audiences. A good sign for upcoming Avatar movies. So a win in every form. How that can be seen as undeperforming or disappointing is beyond me.

Deadline says 27 million friday and 90 million weekend for D&W. So it is closer to 29 and 95-100 lol

As I said countless times. They hype is unreal. I know presale numbers are quit good, but not sensational. But it is a trend now, that big movies get a huge boost in the last week. Presales were good enough and after the 81 RT score and a lot of praise from fans in the markets its already opend, a 200 million should not surprise at all. This could age really bad but anything under 200 million would surprise me big time.

Lol it will. Or at least come close. Hype is to big and a high 60 to mid 70 score will not kill it. Anyone expecting 90%RT is delusional🤦‍♂️ Critic scores mean nothing if audience reception is good.
