LOL the same bullshit over and over again, exactly like 4 years ago. People claimed (before the movie started) "who wants to see this crap, will be the biggest flop ever, under 200mio clubs, cameron will never again make a movie ect." Man it was a pleasure to see how all those haters were owned very hard by cameron, it was also really funny to see how all the haters and doubters were on the edge of despair "smurfs in space, pocahontas in space, dances with wolves in space, only because of 3D, gone with the wind adjusted, rip off , no story just visuals, etc.", and then they slowly disappeared. Only to came back and trying whatever they could to downplay the success of avatar after they realised cameron/avatar destroyed all their hopes and dreams

LOL devin faraci, what a looser, he is still mad, cuz he was raped by cameron so hard, that it still hurts.
Back in 2009 he predicted, that avatar will fail, boxoffice wise, and critical wise. After he realised that he lost against big JIM, he was on a campaign against avatar and cameron, man this guy ist such jerk, and he still cant get over it, that he was owned by cameron.

Exactly, the movie is behaving like a normal movie during the weekdays. If the shooting really had such a big impact, it wouldn´t be so "normal". The shooting was a tragedy, but the fact, that the fans are using the shooting as a reason for the BO performance is pathetic.Here in germany the wom is very mixed, some say it is the best movie they ever saw, some say it´s the weakest of the trilogy. I booked my tickets for tomorrow, can´t waitSo that is the reception the film is getting not the shooting. If the wom was better, then the weekend drop would be about 40-45%. You can't blame this sub-par run just on the shooting, there are now a myriad of mitigating circumstances that will keep it from making more than about 425.

So, haters were complaining that the death of HL was the reason why TDR grossed so much, and now the fans are complaining that the massacre was the reason why it didn´t grossed so much. In the end all arguments are invalid, cuz we will never know the truth, to much if and would.

WOW this really sad, words can describe this. Imagine you are going to a movie you´re waiting for since years and to have some fun, your are expecting some fun with family and friends. And what you get is the worst nightmare, just horrible. So sad.

WOW, just wow, after seeing and reading all kinds of BS since the release of avatar, this has to be in the top ten. So if someone has a different opinion and you have no argument against it, and the aspect that he/she is a fan of a certain movie, and fans of this movie must be kinda of retarded, so the word "avatard" makes sense i guess, hmmm?
Also we can turn this around.

WOHHOOOO, i´m so happy for this movie. After all the shitstorm, mainly caused by the nolan and tdk fanboys (and some raimi fanboys), it´s nice to see they made this amount of money, despite all the hate.

Ok this sounds more resonable. But i still don´t agree. But i´m ok with that, it´s your opinion and i respect it.Yeah um... 65 inch Panasonic viera 1080p, can't get much better... The vista shots look good, so do the vehicles. Everything else especially the animals and including the navi, not so much.

The effects look really shit now. Heck, even ST09 looks better... but I came to that conclusion 3 years ago.

Hehe, i think when it comes to twilight, we avatar/tdk/avenger fans must stick together :DBut seriously, i never downplayed a movie just of respect to the fans.The ironic thing about Avatar/TDK/Marvel fanboys is that some of shit talk Transformers/twilight and think it is okay. People always bitch about Twilight breaking records.

This!XFC is by far the best x-men movie, this coming from a huge wolverine fan. Fassbender was epic, his interpretation of magento was awesome, he nailed the character.XFC is better for me. Fassbender is pefect as Magneto.

Don't get me wrong, i'm totally ok with that and respect your opinion. But what kills me, are people walking around and shit talking and downplaying a movie without a reason.They aren't perfect movies though. To attempt to discredit the messenger instead of actually listening to the message is not right or fair. When I say the first 10 minutes of Avengers bored me, that was an honest observation. I loved the rest of the movie. Thank God the first 10 minutes wasn't anything like the rest of it. The dialogue got much better throughout the rest of the movie and the storytelling improved too.

People cant stop posting bullshit. Now they come up with the cultural impact. So since avatar is forgotten, tell me why eeveryone is still comparing every new 3D movie with avatar? You cant open a thread without mentioning avatar, in bad or good way. After 4 years many movies are using the colorful style and cinematography from avatar in their movies (oz, carter, after earth, hottyd etc.) even the poster style. Tv stations are using the trailer soundtrack from avatar to promote their programs. If you talk about BO you are talking about avatar.
