BvS reaching $260m in 10 days and then doing $70m rest of the way... LOL.

Looking at the fastest to $250m chart is fun (given WW will pass it today on day 16). The idea that HP8 would take 9 days to reach it and not even sniff $400m and have much worse legs than even TF2 after this point is a bit amusing. That's a good ~3 million tickets more to get WW OVER the top. You guys may want to start a kick starter .

I think it ends up in high $360s. I could even see it cracking $370m...where is the additional $25-$30m coming from? You buying those tickets Tele?

It's going to do over $350m, pretty confident about that. Given the genre and bumpy start to the DCEU, it's a great accomplishment.

Looks like those Cars matinees werent as strong as expected. Much more meh number than yesterday especially when you take out previews.

Btw the fact that we are even comparing Spidey to WW shows how insane WW has done.

Spidey 1 hold on a weekly basis from 1-2 was -41.4%, WW was slightly worse at -41.8%. Spidey then dropped an insane -35.6% from week 2-3 which also had the addition of AOTC as competition.

And that's the problem for it getting to $400m. It's already had its portion with weaker competition so the holds by default have to continue to be sensational.

I think the Saturday increase will be a bit softer than some are expecting but a really hot Father's Day should make up for that. Movies are great counter programming to intense heat.

I guess the biggest question is how many screens will WW have on July 7 and it the following weekend. That's a decent chunk to absorb right there after minimal competition.

DM3 advertising is in overdrive right now, can't turn on the TV without seeing those ads.

The original Spidey had legendary holds given it had a fricking SW movie (even if it is the least popular of the saga) released near the beginning of its run.

That was also AOTC OW to keep it in perspective.

Transformers, DM3, Spidey all out over the next two-three weeks. What are the chances they all do poorly? Very important towards WW doing $400m given it will start to give up screens.
