I've been getting Blu Rays from Amazon UK the only problem is that you have to redeem digital copies through the UK iTunes store. So I had to open a UK store account to get the copies.
-
I was just purchased a $50 US store iTunes voucher from Best Buy for $42.50. Do any other stores in the US ever have discounted digital iTunes vouchers?

Fuckin Awesome.

I'm calling $3m+ for GWTDT.

Watched The Firm. There are 2 things I hate. Showing a 2 minute scene and then going back earlier in time. Not filling the missing period in the first episode.
-
Just finished watching all 3 seasons of Veronica Mars again for the first time since it aired plus watched the 12 minute unaired 4th season teaser for the first time. Suffering from withdrawal all over again.I hope some one puts up the cash to make the movie.

I see TGWTDT opening higher then The Descendants.

This hasn't started in Australia yet but it's getting heavily advertised by Channel 9. I thought it was supposed to be funny but every joke in the adds seems lame and forced. This is one show I'll skip.

Of the animated films I've seen this year(less the 2 hours to go). I'd have to say Tin Tin is clearly the best. Granted, it's the only one I've seen.

I'm interested in this show. However, I've already seen adds for it on Channel 9 here in Australia. Given the subject matter I suspect it won't last 6 episodes in its original timeslot here in Australia.

Yep. It's up now. Thanks Rth. Good to see you found your way to BOT after the demise of BOM. http://urbancinefile.com.au/home/boxoffice.asp

Urban cinefile still don't have any figures for 23-29 December 2010. Hopefully the numbers for the past week are released today.
-
Just saw Tin Tin at Event Glendale. Enjoyed the movie but the cinema was much more quiet then previous boxing Days. Screening was only about 50% full.
-
The cheapest I've seen in Australia for Apes is $28.
-
Just arrived from Amazon UK
Rise of the Planet of the Apes £12.48 = AUD19.68
3D HP Deathly Hallows Part 1
3D HP Deathly Hallows Part 2 Total price £29.14 = AUD 46.90
-
Some of the larger cinemas will open on Christmas Day and give an early start to all the Boxing Day openers.
-
It's not exactly the weekend considering they don't open till Monday.
-
I know Tin Tin by the comics. I read most of them when I was younger. The only comics I've ever read are Tin Tin and Asterix.
-
I thought those drops might be a bit high but I checked 2005 and most films fell about 60%. King Kong dropped 65%.
-
Hope Tower Heist flops here. The adds have been terrible.
