Fans are quick to put directors on high pedestal, and even quicker at kicking them down to the pit bottom.
There are already many salivating over how the Russo bros will swoop in and save this Avengers franchise that Whedon "deliberately sabotaged". Apparently they will definitely make right all the terrible characterizations that Whedon did (nevermind that itt's the characterizations that were so praised in TA) cause of course, they know how to write characters better, as evidenced in CA2. Oh wait...
It's just hilarious and sad really.
Got this trailer at my AoU screening, which was weird amidst ones like Ant-Man, Tomorrowland, F4, Witch Hunter and such.
Anyway, really dig it. Looking forward to seeing the movie in theater. Jake Gyllenhaal is becoming a favorite actor of mine. Dude sure is dedicated.
The Hurt Locker is not exactly an action movie, isn't it?
I like Renner, he was great in THL. I just think he worked better in ensemble, or as character actor, not lead in a big action franchise,
Being away for a day and coming back with like 100 new pages. Don't think I have the patience for getting through all that.
Under 200M huh? LOL. Well, can't say I didn't see this coming.
Seeing the movie again tomorrow, let's see how second viewing goes But thinking about it, I'm already annoyed at the editing.
The word 'lock' reminds me of that one old thread I skimmed through when I first joined. The definition, philosophy, origins, importance....all that jazz, of the word 'lock' were throughoutly dissected. It was a painfully hilarious experience.
