One of my fave films of the 30's.  It's the story of two star crossed lovers lost at sea and they are hunted by a giant squid from outerspace.  They have nothing to fend him off except for their love.  So every time it gets near them, they make passionate love and the giant squid leaves.  The scent of the man's semen is like kryptonite.  This is about as pornographic a film as it gets for the 30's.  The key to their survival is to keep enough semen on hand so that he can get aroused every time the giant squid is near.  Director Jean Claude Fiat cleverly draws parallels between the giant squid and the penis.  Colloquial and raw, this is a must see film.
