A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night is an interesting film, but I’m not sure if I actually really liked it. The acting is fine and the direction is stylish. However, whenever the titular character isn’t on the screen, it’s just hard to really get into the storyline. The soundtrack is sweet though, and the cinematography is striking in an excellent sense. A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night is a fascinating watch, but honestly, I’d need to view it again to really know my thoughts on it. More than anything though, it’s unexpected, so I guess that’s good.
