Bleed for This is another dreadfully dull boxing movie with nothing unique going for it. The fights are shot blandly. The story of recovering is hard to root for when the main character is such an obnoxious human being in every sense. In all three of the film's main fights, rooting against him comes naturally, and two out of three times, the audience will be disappointed. Teller and Eckhart do their best with the thin script, but ultimately, it just doesn't work. Bleed For This joins several other non-Creed recent boxing films as forgettable tripe with little redeeming value. D-

It is not listed in the archives.  Just watched it.  Performances are really good.  They all feel the same (boxing movies).  It did not make it bad though.  Anyways, might as well catch Hands of Stone soon. B-
