Equity plunges the viewer right into the world of investment bankers without any explanation. Consistently engaging and featuring a sprawling cast, it's the type of thriller often ignored by Hollywood. The use of smaller, not-name actors adds a lot to the realism, although ultimately, it is a pulpy tale. Equity is a very enjoyable time at the theater with a clever screenplay and decent direction. Definitely worth checking out. B-
