There's some good action, Berry is sensational and the last 15 minutes is good.

 

The rest is really pedestrian.  They spend most of the movie having Berry chase the kidnappers.  It gets a little stale and all she had to do is run the car off the road and the movie is over.

I like how it was different from being generic because Halle Berry is in pursuit the entire time and the movie never slows down.  It felt different and fresh despite being called Kidnap.  Maybe I will have to check out Unstoppable now. (i meant Unforgettable, but I will settle for both)

Probably one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my life. 80 minutes of Halle Berry inside a car talking to herself, yelling about her son, talking to god??? It isn't even ridiculous in a fun way, it's just embarrasing.
