A new adaption of the classic novel by Louisa May Alcott has been added to BoxOfficeMojo's upcoming release schedule. The cast includes Lea Thompson (Back to the Future), Ian Bohen (Teen Wolf), and Lucas Gabreel  (High School Musical, Switched at Birth). This is the directorial and screenwriting debut of young actress / costume designer Clare Niederpruem.

 

In my opinion, this is the boldest decision Pure Flix / Quality Flix has made, release wise.

 

Little Women is currently set to release on Sepremier 28th against Lionsgate horror film Hell Fest, Universal comedy Night School, and Warner Animation Group's Smallfoot.

Based on the trailer I found, it seems like Life Itself has some competition in the uplifting drama department.

A new development: on Box Office Mojo, this film's distributor has been changed from Quality Flix to "Pinnacle Peak". I'm not sure what to make that. Could it be a name change?
