Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)

6/10, B- ... definitely one of the most boring entries in the MCU franchise. This movie had not one, but two emotional cores - both of wich did actually work to some degree, Stephen/Christine and Wanda and her children - but both of which got shortchanged under a ton of noise and visuals and quips and cameos which most of the time didn't focus on this core at all. (with noise I didn't mean any disrespect to the music which is one of the stronger points of the movie)

 

aside: as an introduction for America Chavez, the movie was a complete failure as she was never allowed to become a character until the last three minutes when things  happened much too fast

Tried rewatching last night. First 25 mins or so with Doctor Strange are so good BUT then they just overpowered WANDA so much and make a joke of Kamartaj and sorcerers. Bailed out there, couldn't move forward knowing that.
