OK for an agent thriller, very good actors. Not my kind of film but if you're into those, "The Debt" is a very serious and well-executed film. The action stays strictly small-scale which fits the intimate nature of the film which concentrates on 2 characters.

Jessica Chastain is the standpoint, but the film is simply mediocore outside of her performance. There are interesting stretches during the film that are followed by bland and boring stretches. The ending is extremely silly and out of place, and I thought they missed a chance by not placing more emphasis on how living a lie for 30 years affected the main characters.
