Nicolas Cage is a good actor even in films that aren't so great.  He makes you believe in his character even if the film is just sub par.  Season of the Witch isn't a great film but it's not bad one.  If you're watching it on Space or Netflix or something, then you might enjoy it.  It's a good medieval tail of witches and demons and knights and swords.  The ending is very well done and along the way Cage and Ron Perlman look like they have fun with the film.
