tommycruise Posted July 30, 2012 Share Posted July 30, 2012 I'll start with some of mineTitle-Death Dealer(pun on drug dealer) premise- A man kills drug dealersStory- a business man and his friend have a business meeting in Colombia/Mexico(originally went with colombia but mexico would probably be a better setting these days) and while there the man's friend gets skilled by drug gangs/dealers. He vows revenge but realizes that he would have absolutely no chance against these hardcore drug dealers and decides to head back to the states to receive training(he's magically a millionaire so he can do whatever he wants). 9 months later after having receiving extensive physical training he returns to kill the drug gangs that killed his friend. He buys some weapons from some corrupt cops and prepares to get revenge. On the way though he sees a family brutally slaughtered by a drug posse and his plan for revenge turns in to something greater, instead of just avenging his friend he decides to rid the country of drug dealers once and for all. In the process he goes on a killing rampage and becomes a local hero, but the police do not likes this rogue man stealing their thunder and also try to take him out. Which means he has to go into hiding for a while, but even taking heavy losses in men and money the drug dealers continue to pillage which means the man must come out hiding....and an epic showdown happens.suggested runtime-100-130 minutesgenre-action comedy(but with a couple serious moments thrown in)budget-50-75m the budget would have to be kept down because it would probably receive an R ratingdirectors- any suggestions?main actor- any suggestions?tagline- He isn't above the law.... HE IS THE LAWTitle-The OffenderPremise- A man pretends to be a sex offenderStory-A man(with some funny name like Mike Litoris) is constantly bothered by everybody in his neighborhood girl scouts try to sell him girl scout cookies, people him invite him to church/barbecues and generally people try to become this mans friend. Finally he just can't take it anymore and wants to left alone once and for all so he decides to pretend to be a sex offender. Luckily he has a friend that is in the police force who gets him registered and he even decides to put a sign in his front yard that says I'M A SEX OFFENDER. For a while people leave him alone, but only because people in the neighborhood don't know what to do with him but eventually people boycott his house with signs trying to get him to leave. All the while a man in the neighborhood has been trying to kidnap children while all the attention is on somebody else. But Mike Litoris finds out and its up to him to save the neighborhood and the children from the REAL SEX OFFENDER.suggested runtime-85-100 minutesgenre-comedy of coursebudget-20-30mdirectors- maybe judd apatow?main actor- maybe Jim Carrey?Tagline- any suggestionsTitle- Radiated? sounds kind of cheesy thoughPremise- 2 men emerge from underground in an attempt to get food for their colonyStory- In preparation for a nuclear wara scientist invents a pill that allows people to survive massive doses of radiation(but not without consequences), soon after it enters massive production. But not too long before the Nuclear war actually starts. Some people build massive concrete bunkers underground but the unlucky ones are left above ground. Very few people above ground survive and the ones who do become very mutated. 500 years later an underground colony is running out of food so they send 2 men to see if they can find any food. They search for days but the only thing they find are cockroaches, which are far to radiated to eat safely. But on the way back they run into some of the mutated humans, which they are able to kill but barely, despite having very powerful weapons, the mutated humans have become much taller, stronger, and faster and they can take a whole clip before they die. The 2 men make it back to the entrance of the underground bunker but they leave a scent trail which some of the mutant humans can pick up on though.
