  1. I know I saw the news last night. Turns out we get 4 marvel movies this year. What a time to be alive!
  2. More on the Secret Wars Theory... In March 2017, the final Hugh Jackman led Wolverine movie, titled "Logan," will be an adaptation of the comic "Old Man Logan." One character that will be featured in the film is a mutant with similar powers to Wolverine, named X-23. How does this relate to Secrets Wars? After all, "Logan" is a Fox film and in no way connected to the MCU. Last year, after the end of Secret Wars, Marvel introduced the All-New All-Different Marvel Comics Universe. One character in the lineup for the new characters was, you guessed it, X-23. Though it might be a stretch to say Fox and Marvel are making a deal based off of this one character, think back to the Deadpool movie. In the final battle, you can easily spot a wrecked S.H.I.E.L.D helicarrier. Personally, I think Fox and Marvel are secretly planning to join the Avengers and X-Men into one universe through the still untitled Avengers 4, due for release in May 2019. Avengers 4 has been said to be a separate story with some elements carried over from the Infinity War storyline. If Avengers 4 is indeed Secret Wars, the only way, other than Doctor Strange using his multi-dimensional powers, would be for someone, intentionally or accidentally, to use one or all of the infinity stones to launch the Secret Wars, with universes, possibly including Fox and Sony's past Spider Man universes along with the 70's and 80's live action Marvel adaptations, colliding. Of course, this is just speculation, considering Marvel could just do something along those lines, but with their own characters. But I sincerely hope it's the former, where Fox and Marvel come to an agreement, and all the fans are happy. Feel free to correct me on anything if you see something.
  3. I was hoping DC would at least play competitor with Marvel with their own cinematic univers (read "decent cinematic universe") but I could not get into BvS. And neither could a lot of other people, including fans of the characters. Man of Steel may have had some fans, but both movies had the same mistakes. Too much mindless destruction, not enough character building. DC should have done what Marvel did and put a few more years into building the characters with their own movies before doing a showdown. Imagine if Marvel went from Iron Man in 2008 to Captain America: Civil War in 2010 without any buildup whatsoever. Then the MCU would have been just as bad as the DCU is right now. I'm not being biased, I'm just saying that the potential for a good cinematic universe was there with DC, but they didn't take their time to make it right.
  4. Guys! Guys! I come from the future! Apparently because of Infinity War having too many characters (Like SM3 and TASM2) the Avengers went the way of the Sony Spider-Man and rebooted only 3 months after Avengers 3's release! But don't worry! They do it with a crappy adaptation of Secret Wars to please the fans! And it's so bad that Marvel hands all the rights to every Marvel Character to Warner Brothers so that Zack Snyder can decide the fate of the Avengers!
  5. Turns out he's part of the New Warriors. The New Warriors is a superhero team that got involved in a fight with a few high-level villains, including Nitro, which led to an explosion that killed hundreds of people including several children that were playing on a school playground. This led to the Earth-616 Civil War. You may have already known that, I just mentioned that in case you didn't
  6. Secret Wars/X-Men & Avengers Crossover I kind of thought of this a while back. Recently, Marvel Comics underwent a company wide event titled "Secret Wars." In this event, different universes collide and each must fight for survival. At one point, the main continuity (earth-616) collides with the ultimate universe (earth-1610). Both universes are destroyed, but characters from both continue to live on a new world ruled by classic villain Dr. Doom. This world has been named Battleworld. This event featured different characters such as Thanos, Ultron, Wolverine, Marvel Zombies, Fantastic Four (with the children of Sue and Reed Richards), the X-Men, various Avengers including both Miles and Peter Spiderman, Iron Man, and Star Lord. Although at this point, the story can't be exactly replicated, however, the idea of alternate universe colliding could be used to unite the Fox and Marvel Cinematic Universes. This would allow for the X-Men, Fantastic Four, Avengers, and even Deadpool to all share the same screen. And it would make for a hack of a followup to Infinity War and Apocalypse. Imagine Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, Hank Pym, and Reed Richards all arguing over who's smarter. Imagine Deadpool and Spiderman taking down bad guys in New York. Rocket Raccoon and Wolverine. The possibilities would be endless. And Fox, Marvel, and Sony would all have a hand in the further creation of Marvel films. Everyone would win. The companies and the fans would both benefit from something like this, if it were to happen. Let me know what you think of this. Should we send a petition to Marvel and Fox so we can make this happen, or should the two universe stay apart?
  7. Nice lineup but for one, Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will be named GOTG Vol. 3. Second, Kevin Feige plans on ending everything in 2028. I guess that would also cancel my first theory about phase six and so on.
  8. Unless Fox wises up and hands over the rights to everyone within the Fantastic Four universe, Skrulls are not going to happen although maybe an inhuman similar to Silar (Sylar?) from Heroes who can shapeshift and multiply to take the place of the Skrulls in a Secret Invasion movie which would be pretty cool. The inhuman could also take powers from the avengers or even Thanos at the end of IW:Pt2 and end it with a cliffhanger while sending everyone into Phase 4 with every movie using the tagline Secret Invasion, similar to the Civil War spinoffs.
  9. Dude. Who the heck is Hindsight Lad....? Is it Ultron turned delusional?
  10. In my honest opinion, I cant decide between AoU, Cap 2, GotG for the best Marvel movie. AoU suprised me as far as the direction it took, Cap 2 suprised me as far as plot twists went, and Guardians suprised me in general. So with that said, all of them are tied for first in my book. Now on with the movie. I went to see it in IMAX when it premiered in the US. I was unbelievably excited too finally see Avengers 2. I would have gone to the 27 hour Marvel marathon in Orlando, but I didn't have the money for it. Walking out of the theater, my mind was moving ata million miles per hour with speculations about Civil War and hold Infinity War and where Hulk would turn up next and so many other things. One thing that I was disappointed about was that they completely wasted Quicksilver in this movie. Not that he wasn't a great character, but they killed him off in his first movie. Maybe Quicksilver was to Age of Ultron as Coulson was to the first Avengers. I would have preferred that Nick Fury would have died or even Peggy Carter as a side story. Nick doesn't have anything too important to fulfill now that he's no longer director of SHIELD, and Carter looks like she's been suffering too much at her old age. She might die in Civil War, but in the present day, she only serves as a reminder to cap of what he left behind. Ultron was the best part about this movie. Most would say that he was too light and funny for his character, but I think that was a smart move for Marvel. If he were as menacing as the trailers made him to be, Ultron would have been thrown in to the pile of villians we've all seen before. Ultron was made by Tony Stark, so it would make sense that Ultron would replicate his personality. The hulkbuster fight was satisfying, but wasn't as good as I wanted it to be. It was too short in my opinion. Or maybe it wasn't as largely scaled as I had hoped it to be. Vision was amazing. First off he LIFTED THORS HAMMER! TWICE! Now Thor has someone to talk to about the power of mjolnr. However, he may be destined to die. Thanos will ultimately get all the stones in Infinity War, and guess where the soul stone is... Anyways, one thing about Ultron was that at some points, I was confused whether he had the chance of being good or not. He seemed to like Scarlet Witch a lot. Maybe she could have persuaded him to let the humans live or something, but whatever. Ultron dies in this movie, which sucks. He was a great villain and could have easily been brought back for a second battle with earths mightiest heroes. All in all, I think that Age of Ultron was a fantastic movie and I would definitely buy the extended bluray edition.
  11. Sorry about that I meant phase six. Maybe they'll do Secret Wars for phases 7-10.
  12. Banner will probably be out of the picture until Infinity War or later because why would Strange be on a tropical island in the Pacific? He might realize the problem with Thanos and all, then make his way to meet up with the Avengers.
