So excluding the events, Aladdin is actually holding better than BatB. Probably not an increase, but it looks like a drop less than 10%, another 1B weekend is locked.

    Yup, Holding way better.

    Sunday Total at 7PM: 248,430

    1st Sunday at 7PM: 253,910

Barely a drop up to this point, but like yesterday, it probably won't hold as well between 7PM and 9PM.

Already above BATB's final Sunday. An excellent hold.

Exactly. I was sort of expecting last Saturday’s “highest admissions” status not to last, whereas I think today will in fact keep the title, but I don’t really have more justification than “just a hunch.”

Well, Fingers crossed it surprises us again.

Doubtful to be honest. if the weekend total had increased by like 53% again  like last week then I would be optimistic.

  4. Instead these horrible numbers, Let's Celebrate Aladdin getting it's biggest day on its 4th Weekend in South Korea

It says something that a lot of the thrill I've been getting out of the box office recently has been watching all these ill-conceived franchise movies tank.

And while I am looking forward to TS4, it's still lamentable that we're relying on a fourquel to avoid a complete catastrophe.

Surely this summer Cannot/will-not be as bad as 2017.

That one also gave us Flop/Under-performers galore.
