  1. This time it is a valid complaint since shortly after Season 1 ended the showrunner said his idea for Season 2 centered around female characters.

Pizzolatto said he scrapped his early season 2 draft, removed whole characters, and pretty much started over. He said he wasn't happy with what he had as he felt he was writing for peoples expectations, so that may no longer be the case.
  2. It better. The final season was so on point and each episode outdid the previous one. It was an amazing and ridiculous stretch of quality - no other show came close last year. The current GOT season (the one which ended 3 weeks ago) is probably the closest one to that stretch of quality. Unfortunately, the GOT season nominated is from last year.

No, season 4 of Game of Thrones vs Breaking Bad season 5.2

This years Thrones vs last years BB.

  3. No nomination for Tatiana Maslany is fucking absurd. What does she have to do to be nominated?

    Glad for Headey.

Game of Thrones leads with 19 nominations, but the fact that Breaking Bad was nominated twice for writing is the clue I think.

Looks like Breaking Bad will win Best Drama again.

  4. He directed 'Confessions' which was a pretty strong episode of Breaking Bad. So Slovis and Nutter replace Graves. Slovis is directing episodes 1 & 2, and Nutter said he's directing episodes 9 & 10. You would have to think Michelle MacLaren would be back after signing on with HBO...Also, I wonder if they might bring back Tim Van Patten since Boardwalk Empire is ending.

  5. Well, first of all, I disagree entirely. But secondly, eh premise of this show isn't tied into any mystery about what happened. Basically, the Rapture happened. So why try to tie it into some big reveal when that's basically not the point of the show? We're you bothered that CHILDREN OF MEN basically didn't explain why no children are being born anymore? This is the same thing.

That's why he's attracted to that show. He doesn't have to provide an answer because most people hate it when he tries. He's got this thing going on where his mother was religious and his father was an atheist and everything he does seems to mix these two things together without offering any kind of resolution or answer. Either he can't make his mind up or he's too frightened to upset half his audience with an answer. It grows tiresome. He
  6. If Fairley isn't lying about Stoneheart not appearing in the show, I won't be too bothered by it. I don't like it when dead characters are brought back to life. Didn't like the Beric Dondarrion stuff either. It just cheapens death. TV shows and so on have done this sort of thing too often. If you do it even once, there's a question mark hanging over every death that follows.
