On IMDB you can give a movie a 10 before it's even in theaters so it's not any impartial or useful metric. It's had problems with bots for years. At least Rotten Tomatoes new Verified Audience score requires you to actually see the damn movie first. There's a reason studios use RT scores in promos but not IMDB lmao

IMDb score means literally nothing since you can just score it a month before the movie is released. At least RT has you verify you saw the movie first (after Captain Marvel got brigaded by fake reviews)

Yes, I saw one of the advance screenings on Tuesday. It's not awful but it's not nearly as deep as it thinks it is. Outside of Phoenix's better-than-the-script-honestly-deserves amount of effort it'd be much worse, but Ledgers is still vastly superior.

Like Shane Gillis, who's made more press than he has in his entire career by being fired from SNL for being racist on his podcast? Like Donald Trump, who went from hosting The Apprentice to being the fucking President after multiple rape allegations, including walking in on underage girls undressing?

He was fired because Disney didn't want that in the press leading up to the Fox merger, amplified by anti-SJW/Breitbart/alt right folk because of Gunn's opinions on Trump. His tweets was already reported in 2012 when he was hired for the first Guardians. AND he's still directing Guardians 3 anyway along with Suicide Squad. How exactly is Gunn "cancelled"? He went from directing one tentpole to directing two tentpoles. The "PC police" didn't get him fired, unless you consider Jack Posobiec to be an SJW.
