Croods - B+ better than I expected
Despicable Me 2 - B a bit over-hyped, minions were still funny though.
Epic - B- pretty on par with what I expected. Needed to kill a few hours one afternoon, wasn't disappointed.
Frozen - A+ basically perfect to me. good songs, good characters, good twists.

Trailers: MoS >> IM3
Movie: IM3 > MoS
IM3's action sequences were much more entertaining, and IM3 had some good humor.
MoS I got too hyped for, and the 2nd half was just one eternal fight after another, with the random plot of destroying the Earth with that drill thing.

Honestly I think the Star Wars 7 will have a higher OW for December. Avatar should still be high and should hold better later on though
I don't think we can assume Avatar 2+ will have the same legs as the first one. Avatar was helped tremendously by its groundbreaking use of 3D, which caused a lot of repeat viewings.

Palpatine had his plan in motion before they found Anakin, so he would have continued with it no matter what. The difference with finding Anakin was that when he took over, he had Vader by his side, not Dooku. Also, by finding Anakin, he was able to procreate, resulting in Luke and Leia. If those children hadn't been born then there would be no Jedi to assist the rebels (seemed to be needed in battle of Yavin IV, which if lost would have meant the end of the rebellion).Then, with all the pieces in place, Luke was able to turn Vader against the Emperor, something he would not have been able to do with Dooku. So finding Anakin did restore balance to the galaxy after all.What I don't get is it was Anakin who unbalanced the force anyway, by betraying all the jedi. So if he had never had been found there would have been no need to bring balance to the force right?

yup. It was Avatar's trailer that initially piked my interest in the trailer music genre.I really love Avatar's 2nd trailer. Actually i consider it one of the most epic trailers ever. I know it shows the whole story but i think it worked perfectly for the film. And to be honest there wasn't any great twists in the movie that could be exposed. Plus it most definitely didn't lack in money-shots.

go for that 99%No theater here will be playing Oogiloves by Friday. Because they don't have a major distributor they're not contracted to play the film for two weeks, so it could be up for the biggest second weekend drop of all time.

As long as the final trailer is anything like Avatar's final trailer, I couldn't care less about the previous ones. That last trailer was fucking epic.
