What?The Avengers increased Saturday from its non-midnight. I'd say TA WOM was atleast on par with TDK. You don't open 40m over predictions unless you have godly WOM.

If that translates into the domestic market, then TDKR is opening right where it's expected to: around 170m which is close to The Avengers minus the 3D up-charge..

I'd love either an SHIELD movie to give Jeremy Renner and Scarlett Johansson (and maybe Ruffalo if the Hulk standalone doesn't work out) some screen time before Avengers 2 or an Inhumans movie.
