I can't believe Last Stand did $122m on this weekend 10 years ago. Sad that that movie was the peak box office success for this franchise (domestically).

Every source reported DOFP's previews at 10pm. If you saw it early, then your theater either jumped the gun or you're misremembering it.

Subtract ~30m from Civil War, add it to Dory instead and you're probably not off on the top 2. Subtract $50m from Suicide Squad and give it to Jason Bourne.

Yeah but ultimately that's probably going to be the end of Depp's relationship with Disney anyways. They could simply dump it without marketing and it'd still make decent money overseas. Wonder Woman has a lot more riding on it, like the future of the DCEU.

Alice was a one-off hit that wasn't going to do well 6 years later anyways. Pirates is a juggernaut franchise with 2 $1b grossers. Wonder Woman opening against it would be terrible for a franchise that can't afford to take another hit.

Not in local currency. It was 7.39 pounds OW vs. DOFP's 9.14 pounds. The rest is exchange rate.

It'll probably hold slightly worse than DOFP. $90m is still good though. Pretty much exactly on par with how it dropped from DOFP in the UK (-20%)

$82m for 4 day seems pretty damn low, that's a 25% drop from DOFP. I think it should do at least $90m 4 day.

No. That's not how these things are reported. Also marketing is WAY more than $60m so that wouldn't fly either way. Most likely $235-250m is the actual budget but Fox managed to fudge it down with tax breaks and other stuff.
