Harry Hart. A man barely alive.
Kingsman we can rebuild him.
We have the technology.
We have the capability to build the world's first bionic man.
Harry Hart will be that man. Better than he was before. Better. Stronger. Faster.

ZOOTP will be at 296m after a 14.3m (according to Deadline) weekend.
So just 27m away from SHREK3. That's less than 2x more (14.3 x 2 = 28.6).
imo SHREK3 is surely going down despite TJB's competition.
ZOOTP is too far into it's run and that too with a great reception for any competition to deal a huge blow (55-60% drop like the one KFP3 suffered when ZOOTP opened).
Considering the great holds ZOOTP has been having, even a big drop would mean 45-50% at most against TJB.
40-45% won't surprise me either.
Am betting on 326-331m dom total (30-35m more after this weekend of 14.3m).
BVS will be on 296.25m after a 23m weekend. So neck and neck with ZOOTP, with a bigger weekend but worse trending.
How much can BVS add after a 23m weekend?
Am thinking 35-40m more for 331-336m.
So it's gonna be close. Next weekend is gonna be a blast for BO followers.
Im thinking Zootopia late legs will be better than you have there. Lorax made about 16M after an inflated 5M Easter weekend. That would translate to about 42-43M. Yeah BvS may take the lead for a week or two but Zoo should overtake it at the end. Still a lot closer than people would've though a month ago.

Tight race between BvS and The Boss but giving edge to Boss right now.
Good hold for Zoo after muted jump. 14-14.5 weekend or around 25% drop.

This is huge news, stock is down a couple percent AH. Why is he leaving is a major mystery, how do you walk away from the keys to the kingdom?
Read that the board wouldn't guarantee him CEO position when Iger leaves. His background is more finance related and I guess they would prefer someone more like Iger who came from tv.

Of course they did damage to the DCEU brand.
I don't even think that's debatable at this point.
Meant irreversible damage. I don't argue it's not looking good. But if SS and WW are hits it's a new game. If not...watch out below.

They didn't want to bite Marvel's style but a slow build up is the only sensible route for any cinematic universe.
Marvel had to go the slow route. They didn't exactly have their A-list heroes available, with Spider Man at Sony and X-Men + FF with Fox. They had to build up Iron Man, Captain America, Thor etc..
WB had no restrictions. I think they tried with GL but that ended with a disaster. Nolan's Dark Kinight was ending the following year in 2012 and WB execs probably had a good idea that Nolan wasn't going to on. So they decided to build the DCU again using MoS as the launch vehicle. Then they saw what happened with Avengers and MCU phase 2. And decided to take a gamble and use Batman and continued to slap on more stuff and got the DC trinity.
I think they pretty much broke even on their gamble. But did it do damage to the DCU? Time will tell. If SS and Wonder Woman knocks it of the park it's like hitting the reset again. If not, they could be in trouble.

Damn. Midnight Special...another reason why I love Science Fiction. I may watch it again with my brother.
