    Thursday numbers: Minions $1.2m, Inside Out $1.1m, Terminator $0.9m, Jurassic World $0.7m and Ted 2 with $0.4m!

    Wednesday and Thursday were the first days where Inside Out sold more tickets and box office than Minions. I'd expect them to get closer as the holidays move on. Ted has fallen close to 60% in gross at my site!

    Yeah I didn't think it was a film anyone really wanted.. Minions or JW for #1 this weekend!

    For Tuesday: Minions $1.6m, $6.6m wtd. Inside Out $1.4m, $5.6m wtd. Jurassic world $1.2m, $7.1m wtd. Ted 2 bombing hard with $0.7m, $5.5m wtd.

    Southland rocking it with the kids films. $1m for Minions yesterday and $900k for Inside Out yesterday.

    I haven't been to work so I have no idea. My best bet would be Inside Out drops about 5% and Minions drops around 10%. I could be very wrong though and they might both increase! In 2014 on the same weekend HTTYD2 dropped 20% but opened against Transformers. (VIC, NSW, QLD starting holidays) In 2013 on the same weekend DM2 and MU increased 20%. (VIC, NSW starting on holidays, QLD already on holidays) In 2012 on the same weekend Brave dropped 25% but opened against Ice Age 4. (VIC, NSW starting on holidays, QLD already on holidays) In 2011 on the same weekend Cars dropped 42% and Kung Fu Panda 2 dropped 45%, but they opened up against Transformers 3. (VIC, NSW starting on holidays, QLD already on holidays)

    It made $750k on Thursday. I'd assume yesterday would be around $1m or just over, and today and tomorrow it'll do big numbers because of school holidays (Sunday will probably be equal with Saturdays total. $0.75m $1m $1.5m $1.5m For a $4.5m-$5m weekend.

    Ted 1 however did open during the school holidays, so it's Thursday and Friday would be bigger in comparison.

    Around $750k for Ted 2 and I think it was $650k for JW. But work was busy so I didn't really get much time to look.. Going to be another monster weekend!

    And then Magic Mike, which I predict will explode here! We're expecting our biggest ever day on the first Tuesday of the school holidays. Though we always perform better during school holidays than the rest of the nation.

    Absolutely insane weekend. Today was no exception at all. We have both Inside Out, Minions and JW in VMAX and all did really well today. Can't wait for the numbers and bring on the school holidays next weekend!

    It was a much wider preview (they didn't have to take screens away from JW) however, we had 16 showings over the Saturday and Sunday.

    Inside Out did $1.1m in previews. We only had 8 showings on total from Friday to Sunday so it is a very impressive result!

    We had huge Inside Out previews this weekend considering we had 2 sessions on Friday and Saturday and 4 on Sunday. Though I feel minions might win next weekend out of the two (JW will definitely win overall), and IO will leg it out over the holidays.

    Absolutely huge day at work yesterday. I could easily see around $5m for it.

    Huge! I feel it is going to play very strongly on the weekends with families.

    I'd say $10m is the target, I'm really not sure if it's going to be able to push past that. Depends how starved the family audiences actually are. There are also Inside Out previews this weekend which won't help.

    Big night for Entourage last night at my work. Easily above the last few weeks openers and just below Pitch Perfect. Nationwide numbers should be coming in about 2 hours.

    Presales for Entourage are looking pretty big at my site. I could see a bit of a surprise with this one getting $4m+ or even $5m. Calm before Jurassic World though!

    TL was #1 at my site today when I left, which was odd.. Overall another busy weekend for us!
