  1. USD? We can't really say whats "under performing" here in China since the last Star Wars movies made close to nothing here in China. I think 100M USD would be just fine, considering the series has quite a few movies to go. In this market, I assume the rest of the movies could only increase from what TFA makes. It's not like 100M USD in China would make TFA a bust. The movie is a complete success.
  2. The force isn't strong yet in China. Hopefully at least WOM is good so future Star Wars movie can have success there.
  3. Enough chit chat, RTH, just give me what I want. Yesterday you came out of no where and today I want it early.
  4. Thanks for the edit fellas. I was actually sleeping. I'm home sick.
  5. 8M should be just enough to keep this above 6M tomorrow. Also, looks like China pre-sales are below T5. Our forum believes it's gonna open to about 25-35M OW which is less than recent blockbusters. Hopefully it's a walk up movie in China but it looks like it will end up on the lower end of our China predictions.
  6. So everything last year dropped 25% or more on the first Wednesday after the holidays while everything in 2009 dropped around 10%. Hmm.
  7. When will this billion dollar talk stop? Do we need a 4M Weds? I'd be for it.
  8. Any actuals yet? Also, anyone dislike baseball like I do? Because I do.
  9. Gitesh counts the .5 for Star Wars but forgot to do it for the 20 blockbusters before it since TDKR.
  10. Basically I sent an email regarding Box Office Essentials a few months ago. I did an interview basically that will determine if they give me access to it. I work for The Metropolitan Opera which has Fathom events in theaters or what not and that's also tracked. The guy doing the interview even told me current data for today for Star Wars which I'm supposed to keep to myself for the time being(Not worth posting). I think I will be approved and so does he. However, getting The Metropolitan Opera to pay won't be easy. Also, I'm sure someone at my company already has access to it.
