    I finished Empire Strikes Back. Still the masterpiece of the franchise, the ending is still thrilling. A+ movie easily. Onto the Darth Maul fight and Attack of the Clones!

    Also, I think May is too close to Rogue One. It won't let the episode 8 hype build up enough. Im still worried if the spin-offs are a good idea or not financially. I'll love going to see them for sure, but idk if it might water down SW box office.

    Also, if they're talking about the demographics, Thursday was going to skew to the fanboy demographic. Your general audience fans are likely showing up today, Saturday, and Sunday to avoid the lines

    And to think, if it lands on the latter range then CJohn's 300m OW prediction is in play. And so is my over Star Wars first run adjusted club.

    Excel is going to be denying the mainstream appeal of Star Wars even if it hits 1b domestic. He'll say Disney shoved it down the audiences throats and made them go see it, that the box office is only because the geeks bought 100 tickets each, not that, you know, Star Wars might actually be extremely popular.

    I don't think it'll be as frontloaded as people are thinking. Even the prequels had good legs, and those had massive openings and opened in the summer. With the Christmas opening, it's going to play well through New Years

    Friday isn't going to be under the previews. It'll be at least a 60m flat day, so 117m OD is the floor. Saturday and Sunday are iffy, but with such massive numbers, there'll be spillover and we'll likely see a 234m OW minimum. I'm thinking around 250m
