I think people remember who makes the great/iconic movies...ask them to name what else they made and shit starts hitting the fan...I bet a lot of teens know Goodwood. I knew Coppola di d Godfather when I wss in my teens.

Come on folks...we are so close...just a bit more...We're on the brink. Stray but a little, and it will fail, to the ruin of us all.

Shit it's not even cold...barely lukewarm...just think what is in store when it does get cold...Shawn's seat is finally cold and Water Bottle and Tele have decided it's time to eliminate all fun from the forums

Hmm so if we don't start a new Tuesday daily and so forth, we can keep this thread and it's derailments alive forever? As in the Tuesday daily thread.

Read a few history books and make the movie in your head...let us know how it is in the classic conversation thread...Hmmm. Not exciting but quite interesting. At least it is to me.

Derailment...Seriously though...Probably because we like to portray good vs evil not the fact that good let evil slide for quite a bit before kicking it's ass...Why can't I find any good movies about Appeasement. I've only seen one and it wasn't the focus.

Appeasement is how WW2 started...I trust the mods that they are doing the right thing.

He's pretty monotonic even then as wellNeo's problem for some people is that he comes more as a robot than an actual user. Not that I agree with it, he has shown personality, especially when he responds to posts.

And Walt Disney...Red, we are too late. They got Ecstacy.

There are others but the imperial mods are watching us...There will be a secret meeting in an underground bunker to figure out the rebellion plans...Are me and red the only ones who ate absolutely against this?

DerailmentBond = absurd, gradiose story. Have you even watched the rest of the Bond series?

This is more ominous...This pic has nothing to do with anything, just felt like...

We are now under the iron curtain Panda...this post is derailing the thread...I feel rather like a contrarian right now, I watched Life Itself on VOD and I didn't care for it at all. There were some interesting aspects, and it did a great job on showing you the man's life, but what it doesn't do (and this is something I find vital for a documentary to be successful) is give you a reason to care. It's a nice tribute for those who might already care about Ebert, but for somebody who always saw him as just another film critic, like myself, I kind of feel as if my time was wasted. The nicest rating I can really give the film is a C+ honestly.

I kind of liked the derailment in the numbers talk...always gave a distinct flavor to each thread from DeHaan to Pokemon to whatever else but each time it was so nuts and yet so organic that it's going to be hard to create In the classic conversation thread...Plus we talked the numbers when they came in anyways...We shall see though...There's the classic conversations thread. I don't think derailments are all that fun. But to each his own I guess.

Derailments will just be kept to a minimum and the classic convo thread has been moved to this forum for everyone to talk in there on everything non box office related. It's still a thread that's safe for work.
I leave for a few weeks and this shit happens...

You forget all the other films that day that were in the right ball park, people only recall the bad stuff
...and ok maybe I had a JB hardon at the time (also recall a few other early est lower than my initial but not by much) but damn all the oldies and only going out in the daytime lol

No matter how crappy it is, it just how lacking this summer was for the general audiences appetite for films.
You may disagree with their appetite, but it appears that is the harsh truth my friends
Then the general audience needs a kick in their balls...

TF4 has an utter lack of competition other than Apes 2 (which probably won't be a juggernaut)

You guys
"Rank the Marvel movies" is BOF code for "C'mon, are we really gonna rank the Marvel movies again?"
C'mon now

Okay I'll start.
How did Batman get back to Gotham?
He walked back across the iced river...Ra's taught him how to be mindful of his surroundings...
