  1. You must have an amazing life if that put you into a depression.
  2. Internet fan culture isn't really as niche as you're making it out to be, at least on the MCU side of things. Every family's got the one nerd who is always on top with what's trending in geek culture (I'm sadly that nerd). And everybody's got a Twitter account at this rate, so you're bound to have seen Molina in the trailer and/or heard somebody talk about or meme [redacted] at some point, especially considering how viral both trailers were and how the MCU has crossovered to so many other Twitter sectors.
  3. Well I mean NFTs (and also capitalism) will kill us faster than the virus will. I think we can make an exception.

  5. Spider-Man: No Way Home Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-17 and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 129 11770 25482 46.19% Comp 1.550x of Black Widow's Final Count (20.46M) 2.247x of Venom 2's Final Count (20.07M) Adjusted Comp 0.972x of Star Wars: TROS T-17 (38.9M) So for context's sake: The reason why I'm doing final count for Widow and Venom is, simply put, the film is outclassing every film that came out this year by a landslide in just one day. This is the first time since Rise of Skywalker I had to compare final counts because the ranking was so high, which goes to show you just how earth-shattering this movie is doing right now. And while I know many people are comparing to TROS' first day, the big bombshell here is that at the same T-17 mark, Home is already on par with Rise, which was already on sale for about two months or so at the same point in time. That says a hell of a lot. Way more than this outpacing every 2021 movie. Papa Feige, you've done it again!
  6. I'm only halfway done. I don't think I can take this anymore.
  7. Just letting some folks know that I do accept stragglers and late submissions, though when I officially start the countdown, that's it. So if you realized you missed the deadline, you still have a chance if you're really, really fast.
  8. The lighting in the MCU shows has been consistently bad (I never had these problems with the movies, so what gives with these shows), but the pilot is almost unwatchable. The lighting is just atrocious here, because everything is so dark and hard to see. The beginning when Kate Bishop's messing around with the clock tower is impossible to decipher anything. If this is what the rest of the show will look like, we're boned big time here.
  9. Whatever. I'll just finish watching the rest of my Hell's Kitchen episode, then head to bed, and just make some wild guesstimates on what the AMC auditoriums actually are.
