  1. Big Sick is good, but nothing spectacular, and I've heard nothing but raves for Mudbound, so go with that.
  2. One of my favorite moments on this site was how people didn't know I was a teen until I told them because of how mature I was. Really made me feel like a man. (Although, I'm gonna be 20 in two days, so...I guess I am a man. )
  3. The fact half the people are DCEU stans makes it even funnier.
  4. Also, today I learned we apparently have a "User Union" club...think I need to sit down and think about stuff for a while.
  5. I do agree that the opening really is unbelievable. I remember I had the Tarzan VHS, and this scene was used as a trailer, and I would watch it all the time because of how cool it looked.
  6. I always felt a tad shifty about him. Not to disrespect any religious people on this forum, because I know there are wonderful religious people, and I myself grew up in a Christian household, but when someone is so attached and in love with God and Christianity that they pray after seeing some Japanese anime film and get excited for a cheap-looking animated Nativity movie and Pure Flix joints, I get a little suspicious about how they feel about two men together. Although at the very least, it has helped make me even more excited about Call Me By Your Name, so I guess that's something.
  7. Also: $13.5M/$19M for Orient Express $13.5M/$18M for Daddy's Home 2 $4.5M/$6.2M for 3 Billboards $4.1M/$5.7M for Roman Israel $3.4M/$4.6M for Lady Bird
  8. Hope you're better. All of BOT's rooting for ya.
  9. Somewhat similar, but I think STX really missed an opportunity by moving Molly's Game to December. Orient Express and Roman Israel were the only real adult-skewing films that came out this month, and the latter's being dumped, and with Three Billboards and Lady Bird only in a few hundred, having Molly as one of only two major adult films in the market would have made it more appealing as counterprogramming and deal with less competition, considering it now will have to compete against the buzzier Phantom Thread and Post on Christmas, and deal with their expansions and other Christmas/awards season holdovers in January and February.
  10. @Squadron Leader Tele Are we allowed to talk about Coco previews here, or should we start a Thanksgiving weekend thread and talk about it there?
  11. Real talk: Anyone who does something like this should get at least a threadban warning.
  12. Taking out the Tuesday previews: Coco 727 2185 33.27% Roman Israel 30 1420 2.11% Most of Coco's boost came from today, with another sold-out show, for obvious reasons. Thursday and Sunday are pretty much the same.
