  1. The Regal one has a bit of a cringey charm that feels a touch self-aware and at least acknowledges movies that came out in the last century. The AMC one is this annoying, self-important silliness that prides their theaters as this sweet haven of culture, and their "we come here to dream and become inspired" montage consists of three movies, and the oldest of them is Jurassic World. It's so laughable and idiotic, yet weirdos always applaud when it starts. I don't get it.

  3. I saw 3qualizer on Saturday and can confirm they replaced it with the generic Pepsi intro they had for years. And nothing of value was lost. Now our next goal is to get rid of the Nicole Kidman AMC intro. It's easily the worst and more annoying of the two, and we need to kill those memes right away. Currently rewatching Shrek right now. This man was a big part of my childhood even outside the ogre. Sad to see him leave so soon.
  4. Moderation Not the DC vs. Conjuring thread. Not even sure why we're complaining about Warner "mistreating" the biggest horror movie franchise ever when said studio consistently puts out big box office hits in said giant franchise. So please move the topic to something else.
  5. Already doing that. I made this thread last year. Haven't updated to include 2023 data, but I do believe, at least in regards to Awareness, that there's a very strong correlation for most movies. And the 2023 data I have collected only furthers that IMO
  6. Pretty solid IMO. That's only 100 thousand less than Bodies Bodies Bodies' second Friday, and that was in 575 more locations. Hoping the momentum continues, because it for sure deserves it.
