  1. No lol. They're always below the actual Friday estimates. Doesn't stop people from freaking out about it though.
  2. RT Verified Audience scores: The Menu: 82% (still just 50+ Verified Ratings) She Said: 92% (less than 50)
  3. Yeah Thanksgiving sounds about right. They'll probably do a similar strategy that the first Jurassic World did by having the trailer play during a Thanksgiving Day football game.
  4. Why is it "1M+"? Was Deadline not allowed to have specific data for The Menu for some reason? It's weird.
  5. https://deadline.com/2022/11/box-office-black-panther-wakanda-forever-the-menu-anya-taylor-joy-she-said-1235176102/
  6. So uh...are we just not getting Menu or She Said preview numbers? It's almost 1 and there's no word on either.
  7. I mean personally speaking Twitter is my main source to connect with friends and keeps me up to date on the news better than any other platform. I know that's the case for many others as well. Losing that easy access is pretty damaging to people's awareness of the news and its ability to promote causes and issues that need to be addressed. Sure, sometimes there's misinformation, but that's only a drop in the bucket to the usual rallying Twitter users do. Plus Twitter is important for marketing, especially with smaller businesses. At almost every company I've worked for, social media is a necessity to promote ourselves and keep us afloat compared to the businesses with bigger exposure. And at the end of the day, thousands of jobs are being lost because of an idiot billionaire. Is lost jobs out of people's own control really worth getting rid of an entire social media platform? Is people's livelihoods worth being destroyed because of some random social media site you can easily ignore? (And yes, you can ignore it. Twitter is not destroying society as we know it like you claim it is. And that bit of yours has gotten super old)

  11. Answered your own question. Even if you want to ignore it, like Marvel fanboys keep insisting people tired of this Marvel crap should do, it's impossible. They have so much power in the cultural conversation that you will still see promos, social media posts, discourse, word of mouth, the Disney+ homepage bombarded with Marvel crap. You can't escape it even if you want to and that can be tiring. And considering that even Marvel diehards are sick of all this, even the ones who will gladly watch every single episode of every single show...yeah, ignoring it isn't something you can do and will lead to bad repercussions for the franchise creatively and financially. Some will argue it already has, though I disagree with that personally. Still confusing some Marvel fans don't get this. If anything, they should be the ones demanding less Marvel shows and movies. Don't they want their franchise to succeed and still make big box office? Weird.
  12. I'm saving as many quality memes I have on my bookmarks page right now lmao. Gotta make sure we don't have a Library of Alexandria situation on our hands.
  13. Never forget: capitalism will kill us faster than the virus will.

  16. I know it's the board's MO to go "OMG ITS A BOMB" every time we stub our toes, but you guys know there's more than just the second weekend. You should know by now that second weekends have been trash this year and that it's made up for by late legs in future weeks. Do we have to do these meltdowns? Do we really, truly, absolutely need to do this kind of stuff? The answer is no btw.
