  1. I don't think there's anything on March 10 now that Haunted Mansion moved. Plop Dungeons and Dragons on there, have one big IMAX movie a week, and call it a day.
  2. I mean Blue Beetle is still an obscure, D-List character. At least Black Adam was still in stuff like Injustice. And I know there’s stuff like Shang-Chi or Captain Marvel, but the Marvel brand is way bigger and boosts the name of everybody. DC is still at the point where they are more hero-conscious to get a big hit. Not that it’s a bad thing. Shazam numbers for Blue Beetle would still be great!
  3. Well...shoot. I guess I was wrong. I really thought there was no way in a million years that Halloween Ends would drop more than 80% on its second weekend. But I guess I got egg on my face there. It's all that stupid peacock's fault

  6. I'm very excited for Banshees of Inisherin, but I get why things seem muted, because the whole thing feels pretty lowkey. Three Billboards had a big ensemble, with Rockwell and McDormand as frontrunners IIRC (been five years, don't yell at me if I got it wrong), a really strong hook (and meme potential) with its billboard premise that made it eye-catching and memorable, and brought up topical issues that mad Banshees is a movie about an Irish guy wondering why he's no longer best friends with another Irish guy. Like I'm hoping to take my mom to this, but that's not as exciting of a hook for her compared to what Three Billboards offers and nothing about the movie has been pushed as "frontrunner". Like the main hype for Tar is Cate Blanchett being the big frontrunner and giving one of her, if not her best performance ever. Brendan Fraser has all the Best Actor hype at the moment, and a comeback narrative, so Colin Farrell's performance isn't getting the hype it usually would. So with little to hook non-film buffs in, I think 30K+ PTA would be very good for Banshees.

  8. Just wanted to mention as always that there's no spoilers allowed, including that certain spoiler The Rock himself already revealed to the press and public. We do have a spoiler thread here however for you to go into more detail:
  9. RT Verified Aud. scores as of this morning: Black Adam: 88% Ticket to Paradise: 85% Note that TTP still has fewer than 50 ratings, so that could change rapidly. Black Adam's at 500+ though, so don't expect much changes and a B+/A- Cinemascore.
  10. Following Death on the Nile with a standard 30% Sunday drop gives us about 14.8M. Probably goes to 16M or 17M since Nile was a franchise sequel. That's nice.
