  1. I think they're heading for that direction. For the Oscar nominations announcement, you could watch it as it went on via a livestream on Disney+. You can still watch a replay of that livestream on Disney+. I think that means we're getting a Disney+ livestream for the Oscars this year. Still not great compared to free on YouTube or Twitter, but these are baby steps.

  3. Maybe I'll change my tune, but I don't like all the golds and yellows in Black Adam's color grading. It's not Extraction bad, but this kind of filtering really bugs me
  4. Tracking is not the same thing as data. Tracking doesn't follow pre-sales. In fact, Scott got this information on the very day tickets went on sale. How would he know what the data would be?
  5. Yeah I feel like even in the absolute best of circumstances where everything went right, Death on the Nile would only do about half of Orient Express. Everything from the source material to the cast was nowhere near as iconic or exciting as its predecessor and the last film had pretty tepid reception anyways. The hook was nonexistent.

  7. I mean Sam Neil's just hot. Even if he wasn't in the first movie, seeing a dude that's aged as well as him is an amazing selling point.
  8. The Batman Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-21 and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 2 177 3605 35067 10.28% Total Seats Sold Today: 2,454 Comp 0.475x of Black Widow's Final Count (6.27M) 0.759x of Shang-Chi's Final Count (6.68M) 0.688x of Venom 2's Final Count (7.98M) 0.683x of Eternals' Final Count (6.49M) 0.320x of No Way Home's First Day of Sales (16M) Adjusted Comp 0.279x of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker T-21 (11.14M) So yeah, this is another case where a majority of comps are too small for the film and skew towards pie in the sky previews of 30M+ or 40M+. So we have to use Final Counts again, all of which should see a huge spike tomorrow night. And this kind of stuff shows that, yes, this is going to be a big deal.

Uncharted, please don't bomb and make this month even more horrible.
  11. Death on the Nile Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report Final Count Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 51 383 9063 4.23% Total Seats Sold Today: 121 Comp 0.132x of No Time to Die (829K) 3.908x of The Last Duel (1.37M) 0.992x of West Side Story (794K) I still don't think it'll reach the mid-teens tracking, and might even hit sub-10M. But TBH, this felt like a sequel that was going to drop hard even in the best circumstances.
  12. Total Seats are filled up. Won't really dive into seats until tonight, because I'm pretty busy, but there's a lot of seats to fill.
  13. So what you're saying is that we'll get a proper live-action Flintstones? As long as there's no Rosie O'Donnell, I am so there for that!
