  1. The one and only benefit to TLJ backlash was having so many people on BOT leave or barely post. Now, little guys like me can take over and farm for some spicy reactions.
  2. btw @aabattery stop changing my title. I specifically made this thread so that I can vandalize it anyway I please.
  3. I'm really proud of myself for not being so desperate for likes. Now I've been hitting the top 5 consistently for months. Pretty soon I'll beat out Tele and be the king of BOT.
  4. The Farewell's getting great reviews too. Awkwafina's coming for the Oscah
  5. WB should have both of their golden boys in one movie. Get Clint Eastwood to star, while Julie Andrews plays the dead wife. She's now cool with WB since she appeared in that one iconic Aquaman scene.
  6. Maybe it's just my feed, but Letterboxd isn't really super cinebro. They definitely are there, but there's a huge contingent of queer film twitter and commie film twitter on the site as well. Definitely one of the more woke places for film discussion.
  7. Also of note, 2020 will have Nolan, Villenuve, Edgar Wright, and Wes Anderson productions. Truly an amazing year for cinebros
  8. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/next-christopher-nolan-film-open-july-2020-1179373 Riveting stuff, I know.
  9. I got a YouTube ad for Lego 2 that was playing 10 seconds of the Catchy Song for 5 hours straight recently. WB is not fucking around here lol
  10. Kid Who Would Be King's trailers made the movie look dire and obnoxious. I got the preview at Mary Poppins Returns, and even the kids didn't seem all that impressed by it. If it weren't for the good reviews, I would have skipped seeing it in the theater.
  11. Oh yeah, runtimes w/out credits and attachments for next week's release (nobody cares, but might as well add something): Miss Bala: 1:39. Attachments unknown (Once Upon a Time and The Intruder I guess?)
  12. https://pro.boxoffice.com/long-range-tracking-jordan-peeles-us/ Us: 35-55M range. 42/135 Miss Bala: 7.5/21 (-17%) Cold Pursuit: 12 (-8%) /37.5 (-6%) Lego Movie 2: 55/186.5 (-7%) Isn't It Romantic: 15 (+7%) /57 (+6%) Captain Marvel: 160 (no change)/440 (-5%)
  13. Something I just realized is that both this and Frozen 2 have Sterling K. Brown in the cast, and they're both dropping the same day. Guess he has something to be thankful about.
